A Peculiar visitor on board.
Hi all.
I am new here, but I am not new to Internet forums.
I use my real name and identity as I want to be known, and it forces me to stand behind anything that I post so as not to post anything that I am not willing to stand behind.
In real life I am a 2012 candidate for the US Senate from my State of Maryland, and I have my one pet subject concerning the issue of Child Support, see my link HERE.
So I have to wait for 25 postings before I can start a thread here, and if anyone else would start a thread about the evil Child Support then I would be happy to join into it.

I have 5 MOSs including 19 series, 11 series, 95B, and 2 AFSCs (Security Police & Combat Comms) from the USAF after 10 years there. I am a former protection specialist for NASA and in the early 90's worked for several defense contractors including but no limited to Pratt Whitney, Raytheon, and Motorola.
I build websites as a hobby and to get a little beer money, I am an armor modeller, history buff (aren't we all), have several children, a wife, a cat that asks for mommy when I come home first, am a wargamer (my son and I make our own games) and well want to know more just ask...I guess.
Thanks!
Glad to see you've decided to join.
I searched through your profile to find this post and welcome another IDF (that place sox:D) member to WAB. Welcome aboard and hope you will contribute as much and post often.

Hello,
I didn't see a template of what I'm supposed to write here, so here goes:
My name is Chris, I've been interested in Navy ships for close to 30 years now. I read everything about warships I can get my hands on, have an extensive naval history library and I maintain spreadsheets of what happened to former USN ships as a hobby. I was in the USN on the Lexington towards the end of her life and have volunteered in Galveston working on the Cavalla and Stewart earlier in the 2000's. I'm also a photographer and a few of my pictures have been published of ships in the scrapyard or reserve fleet. I've been on every US Battleship in existance, except the Massachusetts (I've never been to New England) and got to visit the Iowa and Wisconsin while they were active. I actually attended the Wisconsin's recommissioning in 1988. Some day I want to scuba dive some of the sunken ones. I haven't made it to the Intrepid or Hornet yet, nor the Salem, but I've seen just about everything south of the New Jersey. If there are any questions or stuff I was supposed to add but missed, just let me know!

Welcome, Chris.
