Egypt want's to buy some german submarines. They doesn't want to buy the newest class (like israel with the Dolphins), they want to buy Type 209, a submarine class which is available for 40 years.
Ok, they are upgraded but in the end this submarines are designed for coast defence. I think, israel is a little bit to nervous, particularly if it is true that our defence ministry had informed them in 11-2011.
The suggestion, let israel to have a say is really cheeky.
