From my point of wiew, Turkey must(and can!) stand on its own feet. Like Ataturk sad before, a full indepencence, economically, socially, militarily, strategically, etc...

the history didnt notice that any Nation can flourish by the recipe of others...

we can take as a model, trade, establish good relations, be friends etc.... but we have to go from our own way...
The world was not that global while he was saying these words.

Which social/political groups in Turkey support Turkey's EU candidateship?

      the world wasnt that global??...

an independent country means that you dont need "permission" to protect your own citizens...

      you have your own ideal,
      you have your own system,
      you have your own language,
      you have your own culture,
      you have your own industry,
      you have your own economy,
      you have your own agenda,
      you have your own identity,
you have your own right to exist and live with your own identity,

if globalism is against these than i am against globalism...
Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none; be able for thine enemy rather in power than use; and keep thy friend under thine own life's key; be checked for silence, but never taxed for speech.

The true meaning of globalism is the extinction of the national identity and that is the main problem which the nations must face and resist .
