Burger King is private property. Property rights always trump gun rights ... and gay rights.
Except when a homosexual couple goes to a privately owned baker and demand a wedding cake be made against the proprietor's wishes. In that case, homosexual rights trump both religious and property rights.
By the way, I'm waiting for a homosexual couple to demand to be wed in the presence of Allah in a mosque.

But that wasn't your point. Clergy are exempt from being forced to perform the wedding ceremony. Its not just "Gay weddings" either. Your example of a "Privately owned bakery" you forget that they are required to serve the general public without discrimination.

So the sign that says "we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" is a lie? I should sue any store/restaurant to take that sign down whenever I see it.

Privately owned businesses have to comply with state law.
Laws are what governs what happens when one person's rights bump up against another's. If you disagree with existing state law you are of course free to petition to change it or move to a state with different laws.

If you operate a business that is open to, or offers services to the general public you are usually considered a public accommodation and must comply with local, state, and federal laws accordingly. Some places prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation and others don't.
A sign that says "we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" doesn't carry any legal weight. There are many reasons you can refuse to serve a customer, but some are illegal.

that's just it, in Oregon when the Sodomites wanted their "wedding cake" it was 100% illegal for homosexuals to get "married" in Oregon. It wasn't for a couple more years that the Supreme Court changed the law allowing them to procreate?
