...... what? There was no T-84. One of the links you posted took me straight to a picture of the BMPT-84, an IFV based on the T-84. Did you not even bother to check what you were linking to?

Barely 21 hours. Gotta respect the mod team for that. Nice

                What!!!

I cannot believe I missed all that fun! 21 hours and he had over 100 posts. either he spent way to much time here posting extensive involving posts or he posted one single sentence post of pure vitriol after another, I tend to lean toward the latter as being the most likely and am only sorry i missed the chance to go to town on him. oh well nice job mods,

Thank you mods.... knew there was a reason I loved this place--you may see stupid people but you won't see them for long

                  P.S.
just in case this ever comes up...I do not even pretend to be knowledgeable about tanks, beyond that I really don't want to be on the business end;) Oh, and the Stryker MGS looks frickin' scary:P

                    • Joining the military specifically so you can go specops. That's not running before you can walk, that's sprinting 100m in <10s before you can run.

                      Oh, the mass-produced noobs.
                      HD Ready?

                      • Welcome

Well you have that right and I agree with my esteemed fellow Feanor. Say hello in the right place and get posting in whatever interests you.
Oh also if you are as you seem the type to post opinion as opinion and so on then I'm sure you'l get on fine. I've run into one or 2 the "other" types before:))

p.s. Feanor remember this one http://www.worldaffairsboard.com/wes...europe-15.html

post number 218 and as I recall he never responded to my final posting and all that restraint I learned over the last while payed off (OOE knows from where I think :) ). Was good fun though!

                        • It was a shame here never replied. With some research and a little less mouthing off about socialists he could've made a fairly good case for his main points, that Europe has more internal problems then direct external threats.

                          • True of most places I think

True but his zealotry and blatant disregard for common diplomatic courtesy and tact showed through far to often I think. However your right there but I believe most countries have more internal over external problems. Lets be honest External problems and threats are often a way for those in power to remain there by keeping the people in fear of the proverbial "big bad wolf". which by the way takes on a new form for each region or nation in every era. However before I continue on this Feanor may I suggest if we are to continue what may turn into a political science and social philosophy discussion we should seek out or start a new thread for it.

                            • All right I'll make a thread in the political discussion forum titled Internal vs External Problems.

                              • I think in order to take a title of ,BEST IN THE WORLD, it has to be battle field tested in a time of war. Right now the M1-A2 has proven that, however against older tanks. What impressed me was that the M1-A1/A2 was greatly out numbered and still was devastating to the Iraqi military due to support systems, logistics, and communications.
I think the Leclerc is an awesome tank, but I would have to see it in battle first.
