Serbian army captures Albanians and walks them trough Belgrade, at the begging of 20th century.
      This photo is from wiki.
But the only thing that is different was that than it was Ok to do it, as well as killing native American Indians and owning slaves.

Surreal scenes, everything is exactly the same, one century afterwards.

        Versus,

I am interested in your opinion why the federation ceased to exist. I remember Slovenes, Croats, Bosnians and Macedonians were in favor of loose confederation, but Serbia, Montenegro, Vojvodina and Kosovo were opposed.

Remember the meeting of Federal Executive Assembly (SIV) when Kucan stand up cause of the fake stalemate?

            Who we are, part I

The fate of the Balkans we sealed after the fall of Ottoman Empire. Nations that were under them were left with deep trauma. During that period, nationalism was seen as a positive feeling and nationalistic movements were supported widely. More powerful nations used that nationalism to their own benefit in order to undermine the efforts of their, equally powerful adversaries.

Austrian-Hungarian Empire, was holding the buffer zone towards the East in the form of Croatia. While Croatian Serbs were tasked to defend the Austrian-Hungarian Empire from Ottomans, Croatians were tasked to defend the Austrian-Hungarian empire from Serbs that were seen as little Russians or just Russians. The moment the World War I started, the Croatian defense line was activated. Since Gavrilo Princip was the Serb and he killed the last Hapsburg prince, Croatian nationalism, which can be shortly described as the fierce defenders of the western values, joined the ranks of Austrian-Hungarian Empire and went to punish Serbs for that. To put it bluntly as possible, the very core of Croatian nationalism is a mechanism with no emotions what so ever. That is why their treatment of Serbs was so brutal and sadistic. They are the machine for killing Serbs and they cannot be blamed for being such, since you can't blame the knife for being sharp, that is its purpose and quality. Serbs on the other hand could not recognize this. They saw the atrocities committed by Austrian-Hungarian Empire and they treated them as the atrocities of the West, not Croatian. They saw Croatians as their brothers or even further as their own kin, that has been oppressed by the Austrian-Hungarian Empire and that it is the influence of Austrian-Hungarian Empire and the West, the prime reason for those brutalities. They saw Croatians as catholic Serbs and Croats as their brothers. What the Serbs failed to notice is that being under the Austrian-Hungarian Empire, Croats adopted their role in that setting as their national identity and since they knew what they are and whom they are fighting fort, they were able to formulate their response in a more coherent way. Every attempt of Serbs to liberate and than convert them into Serbs, which was the Serbian way of seeing things, was met with coherent, cold, merciless response. And that response was ethnic cleansing. That is why is so natural and normal for Croatian nationalist to simply disembody the Serb, to cut it into tiny tiny peaces and feel satisfied and happy, cause he full filled his purpose. And he cannot be judged or blamed for that, since that is what he is and it is our fault for failing to see the reality and accept it. The idea of Croats as brothers is still alive with Serbs and that is the consequence of something that I will leave for the end.

For the Bosnian Muslims story goes the same, they are Muslims which Serbs see as Turks or Serbs converted to Islam. So the same recipe applies there. Harsh treatment of Bosnian Muslims can be seen as mixture of two feelings, absolute hate toward Islam, due to 500 years of being enslaved by Ottomans
and a wish to convert them to Christianity since in essence they are the Serbs but converted to Islam. So you have the wish to include them into your world but only after you process them aka turning them into Chirstians. The very moment they rebel, you see them as Turks and you cleans them.

For the Albanians things are totally black and white, they are not Serbs and they are for the most part Muslim. That leaves only one option for the Serbs and that is extermination. On the other hand, Albanians due to their specific way of life are, how to put it, crystal clear about who they are. Since they know what they are they are able to formulate what they want. And that is to live on the land they consider rightfully theirs. And since they know whom they are and what they want, they are able to form coherent response in order to get what they want. And what they want is their own project that is the Great Albania. Albanians always wanted to have equal human rights, right to work, right to educate themselves on their language, good medical treatment, good cultural life in their own independent state.
It was never an issue about human rights, it was never about education or the right to work. Serbia gave them the right to work, the right to educate themselves it employed them into the state service, they had
all the rights they wanted from 1966 to 1980. Tito gave them all that. And what they did? They oppressed the Serbs on Kosovo. If Albanian rape the Serbian girl, the cop that has to investigate that is the Albanian, the judge that has to prosecute that is the Albanian and the jailor is the Albanian do you really think that they will do it. No, they won't and they didn't. And so Serbs were moving out of the Kosovo for 20 years, oppressed by the Albanian majority. They were telling their stories to other Serbs and the authorities pushed that stage under the rug, since the authorities were concerned for the higher cause, the preservation of peace But those stories created sentiment in Serbs in Serbia and it is that sentiment that Slobodan Milosevic used to propelled himself into the universe of politics. That is why they fled to Albania to re arm and they came back under the Albanian artillery barrage and NATO close air support. That is why they torched the Serbian 14th century Monasteries in the 2004, to eradicate every proof that Serbs existed there, ever in the past. That is why they invaded southern Serbia and Macedonia as soon as Kosovo is secured.

It was never about human rights, it was never about education or the right to work. It was always only about Great Albania, since that is their national goal, their reality and they will never abandon that, that is who they are.

Every attempt to see things this way was seen in the former Yugoslavia as a act of nationalism and it was suppressed. Every attempt to see things this way now, is seen as proof of Serbian nationalism that needs to be eradicated in every way, shape and form. But it is what it is, an ugly truth.
And again, I am not blaming them for that, they have the right to do it since that is whom they are.

For the Serbs, their tragedy is total and mindbogglingly stupid. But that will come in a second part.

              Who we are, part II

The main problem with Serbs is the existence of the special time/space context that creates false sense of security and therefore it becomes focal point for determination what is good and what is bad. What is good and what is evil.
After the collapse of Serbian state, which cannot be considered as state in today’s terms, only one institution remained and that institution is Church. Serbs lost their military and statehood in Kosovo and Church was the only one that remained intact. That is why, the Orthodox Christian Church has a national determination in front of it, the Serbian Orthodox Church. By binding national identity with the religion, Serbs became detached from the material world and reality, since religion advocates spiritual values that are eternal. By placing themselves into the realm of timeless space, they lost the sense of time and that is how the time paradox was created. That time doesn't exist and that you can do what ever you want all the time every time. This paradox enabled them to endure all the hardships they were exposed to but in a sense it was the escape form the harsh reality and creating their own imaginary world in which everything revolves around them. In that dimension, they are waiting for the messiah to lead them out of the misery and pain toward their homeland and the glory. That created extreme passive mentality that creates paralysis which can be interpreted as playing dead life philosophy. Resistance to change became the greatest threat, since if you move or change position you are reveling yourself and if you reveal yourself you are dead. Munched like cookies by the Empires. But than, the history, what really happened in history, the memory and the identity was passed on trough generations in a verbal way. So by transferring the identity trough language created the first error in Serbian thinking. That the same language means same identity. This error was championed by the first Serbian linguist reformer Vuk Stefanovic Karadzic, the creator of modern Serbian language. At the same time, the Croatian linguist Gaj Ljudevit also performed the reform of Croatian language which was similar with Serbian language so from that similarity the notion arose in Serbian minds that Croats and Serbs belong together since they speak similar languages. They have the same origin. This than, trough romantic nationalism of 19th century gave the birth to the idea of unity between two nations. And from that idea of unity a new pan linguistic idea was born, the creation of Serbo-Croatian language. But there was one crucial difference. Serbs were orthodox and Croats were catholic Christians. The main difference between Catholic and Orthodox teaching, to put it as bluntly as possible, lies in a way how they define the world. In Orthodox Christianity the goal, which is Heaven, is seen as mystical union of men and God and that union is faith for Catholic Christianity the man is detached from God and it is by his deed he earns the right to go to Heaven after he is been judged by the God. So as long as Orthodox believer sticks to his faith, he is in heaven while Catholic believer has to work to earn his right. In other words Orthodox christian has to maintain while Catholic has to gain.
This difference is the very basis for Serbian passivity and it is from that difference the problems arose.
Since for Croatia as a Catholic country, work toward better life is the way how they do things, while the Serbs are content with what ever they have and are passive by standers. That is how, the Serbian minority in Croatia became the obstacle for Croatian progress, since they were seen as a unnecessary dead weight, and that is why Croats had to cut all ties with Serbs in order to have the future. The purest example of this set of events is seen at the massacre at Glina in summer 1941 at the beginning of Croatian genocide. Here is the testimony at the Nuremberg trial.

“The Serbs were herded into the church, the doors of which were locked shut after the last had entered. Croatian Ustaše members began to massacre the victims using clubs and knives. Only one of the victims, a Serb named Ljubo Jadnak, survived after playing dead and later described what had happened:
They started with one huge husky peasant who began singing an old historical heroic song of the Serbs. They put his head on the table and as he continued to sing they slit his throat and then the next squad moved in to smash his skull. I was paralyzed. "This is what you are getting" an Ustaša screamed. Ustaše surrounded us. There was absolutely no escape. Then the slaughter began. One group stabbed with knives, the other followed, smashing heads to make certain everyone was dead. Within a matter of minutes we stood in a lake of blood. Screams and wails, bodies dropping right and left.[4] “
Link:Glina massacre - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Croats slit their throats, so that they could not speak and smashed their head to smash their thinking. Same way of killing was performed during the civil war in former Yugoslavia.
This formulation that we are living in the place where all around us are our brothers that need to be rescued from the evil oppressors created the loving resentment and positive feeling among Serbs. They had the vector, to expand and to free others and than convert them into themselves, since over time as they are free from the foreign influence they will learn whom they really are. And Serbs believed that the majority of others are actually Serbs. This is the second error in Serbian thinking. The inability to understand the difference.
This comes form the church dogma, you are ether with the God or with the Devil, biased and bipolar...digital thinking. 0 and 1.Yes and No.
Now this might work if with religion, but to create the state based on religious philosophy is doomed from the start. And that is exactly how the Serbs made their state.
So if you want to picture this in blunt and vivid way, imagine a charge of Serbian infantry at the Austrian-Hungarian position. Serbian soldier knows that there are his brothers in their ranks so he has to be careful whom he shoots at. While the Croat in Austrian-Hungarian Army, has a clear picture and simply guns down every single one.
This way of thinking is documented in the orders that Serbian Army got in the Balkan Wars.
Another thing that is crucial is the cult of victim or cult of sacrifice and I will deal with that in the third segment.

                Who we are, part III

The idea of sacrificial way of life comes from the Kosovo battle cult. Since the battle was lost, the basis for the history was defeat. And since so much has been lost it needed to have a meaning, otherwise it is just plain stupid act of self destruction. That is how the loss was transformed trough sadness of Sebres and Meropases whom wondered trough the battlefield, looking for their masters, only to find them slaughtered. From their fear and sadness, the defeat got glory component. They sacrificed themselves for the greater good. For their identity.
So the connection was formed identity is sacrifice. With this in mind, Serbs were able to charge at all cost at the enemy and defeat them since this way of thinking transformed them into fanatics. So trough out the history, this emotional movement created another error in Serbian thinking. That the only way is the hardest way, that the battle is only considered a battle if 70% of our forces dies and the rest of them than makes epic songs about how they fought and died. The cult of death. And when you combine that with identification with Russia, that we are both Slavic and Orthodox, meaning that what ever we do Russians will come to our aid and only thing that we have to do is to hold the lines, you get the disaster.

This is the primary cause for Serbian losses during all the wars they fought. The defense thinking was never concerned with technical advancement or changes of doctrine. This lead to constant inability to technically equip the armed forces. It was easy for Serbian army to have great victories when fighting enemy with the inferior forces and weapons, but as soon it encountered the forces on the similar level, the number of dead started to rise. And when encountered with the enemy that had superior weapons in fled. Instead of adopting the tactics and to counter the technology with tactics, the Serbian army simply could not think at that level. That is how the Chetniks and partisans were formed, out of the parts of the system that collapsed. And at the end, that is how the JNA ended. From the doctrine of partisan warfare, the doctrine created the territorial defense and the federal army. When the territorial defense became the enemy, JNA was finished. It was designed to withstand the first strike and to hold the enemy outside the borders, but with territorial defense story, the enemy was within.

                  Bubbleheadness

Bubble heads are the founding fathers of Serbia.

Since the Serbs as a nation are passive they need a tremendous energy from the outside to move them in any direction. That is why they are waiting for messiah and when the messiah is recognized they all rise at once. So the messiah are the triggers. Leaders of Serbs. Serbia has a long line of autocratic rule, ironhand rulers whom lead them as they pleased. They were able to do so since they are not in touch with the reality.
Most of the Serbian intelligentsia was educated in Paris or Vienna. This created the last and final error with Serbs. Since the Serbia was illiterate, passive and backward, people whom had the money to educate themselves were not able to get education in Serbia, because there wasn't any education. So they were sent to other countries to educate themselves. Now, imagine the one whom saw Paris in 19th century and shock of him returning to muddy, ragged Serbia. It feels like a punishment, it drives you nuts. But filled with national pride which is based on the previous things I wrote, they start grandiose projects. They want the Serbia to look like France or Austria. They want Serbia to be modern because they think it deserves it, since they love it, it is their homeland. So fantasy arises. But they are unable to move anything, due to passivity and they found the resistance. The resistance comes from fact that majority of people is quite content with Church and they don't want to change that, unless it comes form messiah they chose. That is why there was a fierce opposition to set up a railway in Serbia, the counter argument was that the “iron horse” would scare the cows. This is not a joke, this is real, recorded debate. So when making the railroads, they don't go where they should go, yet they go so that they could not upset the cows that are grazing in peace and tranquility. This increases the expenditure since every logical project is met with irrational base and the result is monstrous, expensive mechanism that works with tremendous cost and with mediocre results at best. This reflects itself within the armed forces. When Nazis attacked Serbia, Serbs had Me-109E in their arsenals as well as British Hurricanes. This created such a confusion with German fighter escort that the most of their planes that were shot down during the dogfights on April 6th were due to that fact. They were afraid that they might hit their own. This madness continued later on with SFRY, it had US F86 Sabres and Soviet Mig 21. This created large force, that had all kinds of weapon systems, it was a logistic nightmare, hard to maintain and abnormally expensive. So when the war started, no spare parts and thus the whole country collapsed under few weeks.

All political figures whom hold their place in Serbian history have one thing in common. They all were born in the families of rich traders. During the 19th century and early 20th century they had tried to form the Serbian middle class, but since they were the only class they became was the upper class.
The Bourgeoisie. So early Serbian society consists out of uneducated peasants whom were living off the land and the bourgeoisie that lives in the city. But the connection doesn't exist since there is no context that binds the urban and the rural. The Serbian bourgeoisie is a nominal function. Since their influence was limited to cities, the capital concentration was there. They saw the cities as the beacons of light that will light the entire Serbia. And it did but in the most destructive way. The cities emptied the villages, since the agriculture was the basis of the economy thus weakening the development of the country. So two blocks formed, the urban block and the rural block. Serbian city and Serbian village are not two segments of one coherent structure, yet they are two separate structures that oppose one another. This creates the paralysis which disables the society and it is the main cause for such a rapid advancement of communism and ideas of social equality. But when the communism came to reality it emptied the villages since it needed the workers for the factories in order to form a working class, the communist main base. As it did, it destroyed the agriculture completely and tried to compensate the lack of work force with mechanized agriculture. Since the mechanized agriculture is bind to the oil and chemical industry and technical maintenance, that increased the cost of operations in agriculture. Which was one of the main factors for the disappearance of Serbian village.

Today, only cities remain. In those cities bubble heads are in power trying to transform the cities into service centers. But due to the rapid development, cities are not subjected to urban planning and they are dysfunctional with high maintenance costs. The bubble heads, obsessed with the forigin influence are constantly trying to mimic the modern world. The reflection of these efforts is projects that have to be grandiose and expensive, but since there is no coherent consensus and no plan, whom ever manages to grasp the power, enforces its own solution. Result is Frankenstein. The only luck we have is that no Serbian delegation has been sent to Antarctica, otherwise all new settlements would be gigantic igloos, since they are frozen water and they look nice and clean.

The bubblehadism is present today. The bubbles that are in power would like to go to the EU but they have to leave Kosovo story. Kosovo story is the only internal story that they are using to get the votes so by abandoning the Kosovo story they lose their voters and without voters other bubbles will come that would like to march to Kosovo but than EU will start clubbing them. So they are strained between two equally disastrous fantasies. The EU fable and the Kosovo fable. Yesterday the Turkish foreign minister announced the end of all doubts. The Turkey will join all Balkan states into one union with Serbia, Bosnia,Kosovo and Albania.

                  Ottomans welcome back.

Quite simple, Serbian digital mind cannot grasp the idea of loose federation. Either it is whole meaning 1 or it doesn't exist 0. There is no 1.2 or 0.3 value when going digital.

Slobodan and Mira Milosevic sleeping in their bad.

Mira wakes up and sees soldiers around their bad.

All freaked up she wakes Slobodan and yells:
