  • For lack of a GPS - Armin Faber gives the RAF his Fw-190

    June 23rd, 1942

    German pilot Oberstleutnant Armin Faber gets into a fight over the channel and the UK. Gets messed up on course and location. Goes the wrong way. Probably out of fuel. Happily sees an airfield. Lands on RAF Pembrey with his almost-brand new Fw-190.

    Thank you, I did not know how the allies got a FW-190 and did not know about an effective escape from Canada...
