    This is shocking.....beyond words....

Man arrested on charge of raping teenaged daughter

    Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD: Reminiscent of three shocking incest cases reported five months ago, one more involving alleged sexual assault by a man on daughter came to light in Falaknuma on Wednesday.

Rickshaw puller Omer Khan, 55, was accused of raping his 15-year-old daughter. Girl's mother Farzana grew suspicious on Tuesday and on questioning, the teenager stated that Khan has been violating her for one year when she was alone in the house.

Farzana approached the Falaknuma police who arrested Khan after booking a case under section 376 (rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC. Khan and Farzana are living in a single-room rented house in Achhireddynagar. They have three sons and two daughters.

"The girl told us that Khan sexually assaulted her for the first time a year ago and threatened to kill her if she revealed the matter to anyone," incharge city Police Commissioner Tejdeep Kaur Menon said.

    Girl is pregnant?

The girl was sent to medical examination. Doctors suspect she is two months pregnant.

Five months ago, three such cases were reported in the old city. Mahmood of Chandrayanagutta allegedly raped his 14-year-old daughter and made her pregnant.

In another case, a girl complained to the Kanchanbagh police that she became pregnant following repeated sexual assaults by her father and elder brother. A girl from Khajipura was allegedly sexually assaulted for five years by her father.

So rape happens all around the world?

What do you wish to discuss?

Does rape and incest not occur in the land of the Pure? :)

      try harder for revenge threads.

      :)

Of course there is rape and incest in India, it exists in Pakistan too and all around the world.

There is also a propensity to report cases in India now, more women are comming forward, something which is a posetive hence more cases and the media is reporting it more and more which points to the society trying to deal with the problem.

Too bad our women dont become millionaires though and immigrate to Canada because of it so our rates are where they are

Tsk Tsk...unfortunately these were victims of criminals and not the state, while the Pak women had to escape since they raped twice - once by a local court order/ police/ army and thereafter by the state. ;)

              Cheers!...on the rocks!!

A flawed suggestion from the standpoint that both these niches are already occupied and any attempt to encroach will likely be much resented.

Sending the girl to New York could very likely trigger a comment that India is indulging in “Economic Warfare” by appropriating the millions earmarked for Pakistani Women.

Sending the man to New York might be even more fraught as the niche of hitting on minor girls seems to be preserve for the Pakistani Armed forces :

Pak sailor held in NY for assault on girl

Best ASAP drop the New York idea if for nothing more than a CBM.

Sadly, the State is a Criminal in Pakistan.

Therefore, their citizens are no better!

I do not know about the Pakistani State being “criminal” though at times they do come across as sadly being “criminally stupid” in matters of sexual crimes / misconduct.

There are not too many countries in the world where the President plays an activist role in victimizing a raped woman as the Mukhtar Mai case and then goes on to say that he is not stupid enough to make such remarks despite a tape-recording to the contrary.

There are not too many countries in the world where the High Court insists that the absence of 4 Adult Male Muslims witnesses nullifies videotaped evidence that sexual relations took place. (How To Make A Porn Movie In The Islamic Republic Of Pakistan)

There are not too many countries in the world where the High Court insists that the absence of 4 Adult Male Muslims witnesses nullifies DNA evidence in a rape case. (Link.)

                      Hmmm………………….

Can someone please tell me if tape-recorded comments about a rape are null and void in a Pakistani Court unless there are backed by 4 Adult Male Muslims witnesses?

I ask as this perhaps is the cornerstone of President General Musharraf’s insistence that he did not make the comment that Pakistani women get raped to get Canadian Visa’s and become millionaires.

Ofcourse, it doesnt matter even if the "proceedings" are video'd You need 4 mullahs to back the claim...so if a girl goes out, its better that you have 4 people surrounding you all the time ;)

                            Neo,

                            I was replying to:

while the Pak women had to escape since they raped twice - once by a local court order/ police/ army and thereafter by the state.
One is the case of criminals in their individual capacity

and the other was of the State wherein "the Pak women had to escape since they raped twice - once by a local court order/ police/ army and thereafter by the state".

It was on the courts and the State acting contrary to law and akin to criminals.

In fact, I was the first one to comment on the most unfortuante slur by Musharraf on the Pakistani women and though I appreciate the man for some good things done by him, I was totally outraged at his broadbrush slur on Pakistani womenhood and portraying them as cheap sluts hungry to be raped. I take that statement of Musharraf to be stupid and idiotic.
