Gayest thing ever? Soccer? Hah! not even close, I tell you what's gay, the WWE world wrestling macho crap. I watched and it was first and last time of it, absolute garbage all the way.

The wrestling stuff is fake. It's TRYING to be that gay. Soccer is that gay and it's not even trying.
Maybe they could make the fields bigger, huh? Right now there's so much action I can barely keep up.
no iker cassilas aint the best ever. Peter Schmeichel of manutd was real good too. David Seaman (save his world cup performance) is worth a mention. gianluggi buffon (sp?) is also pretty good.
iker seems to put up a consistent performance all the time.

just what is so gay about soccer? is the fact that its not manly? because that is the lame excuse i hear from "football" fans. they dont consider the fact that football players wear enough pads and cushions to stop a bullet and get sissy breaks every few minutes.
if the soccer you're watching is the MLS (american soccer league), then the answer is NO, you wont be getting too much action. the quality of players we have isn't too good.

Uh, dude, have you watched it? The Euro kind? A bunch of skinny fluffy guys prancing around a field the size of Wyoming for 4 hours. And when one of them trips he acts like he stepped in a bear trap.
And then there's the hugging. :)
But of course I'm poking fun. All sports have their adherents and me making fun of it doesn't mean a darned thing.
Living so close to the border, there is a lot of soccer (futbol) playing among the Hispanics here. They act as if it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. I couldn't stand it when I was in school.
"The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world. So wake up, Mr. Freeman. Wake up and smell the ashes." G-Man
It's a cultural thing. In my high school team (I was a Capt), most of the guys were either Irish (celtic fans), Hispanic (real madrid fans), or Italian (A.C Milan etc). We're pretty passionate about it. Like everyone else and their sports. Just wait until the World Cup arrives (Germany, 2006).

seaman, buffon, peter all had a very good defensive shield, and iker lacks that.Reals defence is the most spineless.
What's the difference between people who pray in church and those who pray in casinos?
The ones in the casinos are serious.
