Didn't know that Fort McHenry existed back in the Revolutionary War, I also just assumed it was built in 1798...or that the British used Congreve Rockets. Coulda sworn they were invented in 1804.
Trump's usual infantile excuse? "The teleprompter went out, It just went out – it went kaput." So I could have said — and actually right in the middle of sentence it went out. That’s not a good feeling”
“I knew the speech very well so I was able to do it without a teleprompter. But the teleprompter did go out. And it was actually hard to look at anyway because it was rain all over it.
Also from Trump in the recent past:
"I've always said, if you run for president, you shouldn't be allowed to use teleprompters, because you don't even know if the guy is smart."
"These other guys, they're going around, they make a speech in front of 21 people. Nobody cares, they read the same speech…They have teleprompters. "I say we should outlaw teleprompters … for anybody running for president.”
"Why does @BarackObama always have to rely on teleprompters?"
"Bad performance by Crooked Hillary Clinton! Reading poorly from the telepromter! She doesn't even look presidential!”
So Trump not only has complete morons writing his speeches, but he's also got an utterly shitty grasp of U.S. History...not to mention aviation history.
SurfGun, you want to try and defend this dementia patient some more?
