Hmm, how do you explain the libertarians saying we shouldn't have anything to do with any of them? Or the isolationists? Are they left wing?
Or John McCain running around and bending over backwards to protect the Muslim Brotherhood?
You seriously believe John McCain is right wing? How does open borders, globalism and big government equate with that? Aren't all right wingers supposed to be racists and nationalists?
Afterall, even the Islamists are politically what you'd call "right wing".
Since when is a bunch of idiots believing in a giant invisible boogy monster "right wing'? Are all atheists left wing? Are all left wingers atheists? How do you explain President Obama's self professed faith?
And as for clubbing all so called "lefties" together; Hollande and Obama should be propping up their ideological socialist brother Assad, not his right wing Islamist enemies, right? So maybe left or right doesn't matter; Islamists are enjoying support across the political spectrum.
Is Assad a socialist, I thought he was a totalitarian? Or are the two the same? As for his 'right wing Islamist enemies', see above.

Dutch source citing a Turkish air force officer reports that Erdogan's jet was escorted by two loyalist F-16 while two coupist F-16 were tracking all three. Unknown why they didn't fire.

Personal suspicion would be that any coupist F-16 in the air were only used for "boom scaring" over the cities and not armed; all A2G seems to have been performed by helicopters too.

Depends if we're talking economics or social policies (not social welfare; read abortion, guns, immigration, same sex marriage, etc.).

From my own personal perception, the term "right winger", when applied away from economics, is quite solidly linked with xenophobia and intolerance in my head. Maybe I'm wrong, or maybe I'm ignorant; if either is the case, feel free to give me a better idea of that word.

That's a question better left to the American bible belt!

Can totalitarians not be socialists or capitalists?

Man,what a clusterfvck. The idea of shooting at academy buddies gives anyone creeps.
Everyone believes they did their duty.Such things were long in the making and each case of the thousands involved meant a deep personal struggle.

Problem is everyone saw the soldiers humiliated and killed. That, without doubt, left a scar in every officer's soul.Another, bigger coup, maybe even civil war was fomented.

Left of centre. Interestingly though hardly surprisingly, as the potential to be President or VP has left him, he's swung much more to the left.
