  • Who Needs A Quarterback?

Wisconsin does. We just had our spring game today and things looked awful at Q.B.

Maybe this kid can help us if we steal him from the Hawkeyes-

Pretty awesome stuff here and quite an arm for a twelve year old.

You might want to take a look at stealing this guy as well:

Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

Abusing Yellow is meant to be a labor of love, not something you sell to the highest bidder.

Four quarterbacks played for UCONN last year. McEntee, a junior, wasn't one of them.

I like the twelve year old's upside.

If Oregon State does not shore up their anemic pass protection they are going to need 3 or 4 backups. With no run game to speak of, things are going to get real ugly real fast.
Removing a single turd from the cesspool doesn't make any difference.

OSU plays Wisconsin early at Camp Randall. We may have problems passing the ball (or not-yet TBD) but our defensive line and linebackers look deep, fast, and hostile. We've five defensive tackles in the 290-320 range who played last year, five defensive ends returning with experience and our linebackers have six with experience.

We think we'll have a pretty good defense and running game. Hopefully the rushing attack helps our Q.B. get settled and productive.

          Good luck.

Tell your defense to pin their ears back and go after Katz and his replacements. OSU offensive line is a foes defensive line/linebacker's wet dream. Oregon's states best offensive weapon at this point is having their defense on the field.

May not be necessary. We've a new D-coord. who moved up from the secondary when our previous guy was hired by Northern Illinois to be their head coach. Young guy and pretty aggressive. Blitzed our new Q.B.s during the spring game pretty relentlessly.

Rumors were that Paul Chryst (former O-coord for Riley at OSU) was a little pissed after the game. Personally don't believe it as it could only serve as a wake-up call for what's to come this fall. Chryst may have even asked that the dogs be turned loose.

Chryst's emotional outburst may have been a motivator but in all likelihood no coach wants his squad to be shown up. I see an inter coaching staff rivalry brewing.

Yeah. Dunno. Bielema seemed to get a giggle from it. Chryst is pretty secure with himself and his status is assured at UW. Hometown guy who went to UW. Turned down the O-coord job at UT-Austin earlier this year. If there's a rivalry brewing then Ash (the new D-coord) will have his azz handed to him by Bielema and Alvarez.

                  Chryst is golden these days.

Time will tell. Getting a first rate coaching staff is easy. Having one where all the personalities mesh is rare, but golden. Keeping them all together once you get them all to that level is impossible. Too much money and opportunities at the college level.
