I dunno Ironduke, when I first came to this country, the first place my aunt took me was to a Mickey D's and I remember I couldn't finish a big mac all the way through. Granted I was a bit smaller back then but I can wolf down three of them now without missing a beat.

Took me close to a year before I could finish a big mac or a whopper.

Those things look so small now. :(

I hadn't thought about that...and consider the implications:
Portion control is one of the big reasons why Americans are so obese.

        I wasn't going to do it...cuz I hadn't taken my "power-trip pills" yet.

He was an utterly incapable, unadapted, irresponsible, psychopathic personality, full of empty, infantile fantasies, but cursed with the keen intuition of a rat or a guttersnipe. He represented the shadow, the inferior part of everybody’s personality, in an overwhelming degree, and this was another reason why they fell for him.”

Andrey- those pictures are from a 1963-64 Around the World Caravan of Airstream travel trailers. Part of the trip retraced the route of Marco Polo. The caravan consisted of 47 trailers and 105 people, and lasted about a year.

Your pics were originally published in Life magazine. There was also a book written about it called "Thank You Marco Polo".

Airstream clubs today still conduct these tours, and owners travel all over the world with their beloved Airstreams. :)
