Anyone else thinks Chavez is getting more and more like Gaddafi?

They all have one thing in common- call it Government by a Man. As opposed to Government by a System.

Castro, Kim, Khadaffi, Chavez, Putin, Saddam, Mugabe- the list is endless.

Problem is, what do you do when it's time for succession? (answer: you don't)

Gov'ts based on a strongman are always consumed by the one thing that is most important; that is, staying in power at any cost. These countries are rarely stable, since their political changeovers are usually accomplished by some form of coup, followed by large scale demonstrations and violence/repression.
