It is of no matter where the Mongols originated. The Khanate of the Golden Horde, was, in fact, the home of a band of Mongols, who, in typical Mongol fashion, raped, pillaged, killed, etc. and so on; in short, everything that Mongols are famous for. You're arguing over semantics, your argument lacks substance.

"Siberia was the home of the Golden Horde" - Officer of Engineers (look through the posts.
Golden Horde was WEST of the Ural mountans which is far far away from Siberia, so I am right in my argument.
It is very intersting, I usually get insulted and put down by certain members on this board for as much as misphrasing a sentence, and here you get all touchy feely about a certain and clear mistake that I pointed out.

That's quite a lie. It wasn't very hard to get yourself killed in the Soviet Union, especially in the days of Joseph Stalin... I think it was easier to get yourself killed than staying alive or dying of natural causes. Any little thing that could lead to a hint of suspicion was usually "treated" in the "Gulag institution." Why else do you think the gulag is/was so infamous?!!

          That map is bullshit.
Tell me how to, and I will upload you an image with a real map.
Till then, study your geography and history.

You are calling my map bullshit? What's so bullshit about it?

You're treading on very thin ice here. You don't tell *me* to study my geography and history, I consider it a bannable offense, FYI. There isn't a better way to get banned here than to tell *me* that.

I'll await your maps. You better not disappoint me, or I'll be severely angry.

              Berkut,

Just how much of Mongol history did you study? Are you telling me that the Golden Horde never established outposts in Siberia? And after that, tell me what kind of outposts were they?

What I'm saying is that more people died of starvation in famine than were executed. By that I mean more than 50% of those who died under Stalin's rule (war deaths excluded). I may be wrong, I'll recheck the figures. It may as well have been execution, because Stalin was no less responsible for their deaths than the ones who had bullets put in their heads.

Here you go. My prof retired last year, he specialized in Asian history for over 30 years. You gonna question him?
Notice the location of the area labeled "Golden Horde...
And by the way, why are YOU getting so upset, you have no problem talking smack to anybody who opposes your view on this board, along with the Officer over there. "Treat others the way you want to be treated" I believe I got called a moron, a retard, and some other words the second day on this board just because I didnt give the expected answer to some bullshit tricky question.

                    WHAT BULL!!!!!!!!

The Empire of the Great Khan and Yuan China are ONE and the same. Yuan China is the name of the Mongol Dynasty taking on a Chinese charateristics. In actual fact, Kublai had to conquer the Golden Horde.

After the fall of the Yuan Dynasty, the Golden Horde re-establish ALL of its holdings including Siberia. Ask your prof what was the map of the Golden Horde when Tammerlane declared war on it.

Your professor? Would I challenge him? FUCK YES I WOULD.

You must be an IDIOT if you've never challenged a professor before.

Btw, I NEVER said a harsh word to you before you told me to go study my
                      history and geography.

And I was mistaken, you didn't "misphrase" a sentence or statement, you were just PLAIN WRONG!

Well, it's a good thing the mongols got kicked back to the shithole they originally came from.

No, they didn't. They got absorbed into the local population and had further expansions with their Turkic cousins under Tammerlane and later, the Persainized Mongols (Moguls) expanded into India and argueably created the current Muslim-Hindu situation.

We, Europeans, kept the Turks out of Europe. That's all that counts for me.

But now that Turkey might join the EU and Europe is full of them, profiting of our counterproductive socialist system (opressing the working class), I think they might one day even capture/spoil Europe too if we don't wake up. (Just like they did to Bosnia, Albania, Greece [all, ancient, Greeks are dead] etc.)
