If you haven't heard the song "8th of November" by Big and Rich I highly recommend you do. I'd be willing to bet that even you folks that don't normally like country music will appreciate this song. It's written about a real trooper from the 173rd Airborne Brigade and the battle that wiped out most of his platoon on November 8, 1965.
