So this Ron Smith killed 2 men in cold blood 30 years ago and initially wanted to be executed for his crimes. Then changed his mind and has been battling it ever since. Now this:

Seems pretty absurd that a ruling like this could ever come about. Once again, the victims and their families get the short end of the stick.

Hold on a second. The Judge issued a stay of execution, not to review the case, but for Montana to revise its execution protocols. They will execute him when they are done crafting a protocol that will ensure consistent results.
