  • British paedophile jailed for seven years in Cambodia

    The Times - March 10 2011

A British paedophile has been jailed for seven years in Cambodia for paying to have sex with two under-age girls.
Should be life for the F*cking pervert
Matthew Harland, 38, a computer engineer, was arrested in Phnom Penh, the Cambodian capital, in May for buying sex from an 11-year-old and a 12-year-old in 2006 and for committing an indecent act against a 13-year-old girl.

Police from Phnom Penh’s anti-human trafficking unit found hundreds of indecent images of children on Harland’s computer after raiding his home, according to Keo Thea, head of the unit.
Well done them, keep it up

Phnom Penh Municipal Court also ordered Harland to pay each of the victims one million riel ( £154) in compensation.
Man, probably a lot to them but such an insignificant amount, for what he did.

“The verdict offers justice to the victims,” said Peng Maneth, a lawyer for the girls.

“But it is regrettable that the court did not order him to be deported after serving the sentence. He is still young and has job opportunities in Cambodia and he could cause more harm to other children.”
They should deport him after his release, then the UK can do what they should have originally, instead of allowing him to skip the country.

A British police report said that Harland had jumped bail from Britain in 2005 after being arrested on child pornography charges, according to Cambodian police.
Amaazing innit, they arrested him then sent him home if would be funny if it was not so sad.

Dozens of foreigners have since been jailed for child sex crimes or deported to face trial in their home countries after Cambodia launched an anti-paedophilia push in 2003 to try to shake off its reputation as a sex predators’ haven.
    Good for Cambodia

Among those awaiting trial is Nicholas Griffin, 52, the British founder of a Cambodian orphanage who is charged with sexually abusing children under the age of 15 at the home.
I want them to let this bastard come live with me for awhile, I will mentor and look after him and ensure his rehabilitation happens

Mr Griffin, who was arrested in October, was the founder of Cambodia Orphan Fund, which according to its website aims to “create projects that will help Cambodian people break the poverty cycle and help themselves to a positive future”.
    Sick bastard

Last time I went to Thailand, I was amazed seeing tourists buying sex from girls, often appearing underage, that too openly under the government's protection. Its good that Cambodia has undertaken such a drive. Time for others to follow suit. Its excellent that people who get caught doing the same in India will probably get mauled by the public, even before the administration gets time to act. Some bastards need the rod.

Things have changed on Res judicata in the UK. Not sure if it would effect this case.

Article 50 European Human Rights Charter - yet another attack on British sovereignty?
(oh wait, the EHRC was there first - yet another attack on European sovereignty?)

Girls who work the bars Mjr all have to have govt ID to prove their age , BUT the lollita's who work the streets are normally doing so with the participation of mum , ITS A SCAM AND IT WORKS LIKE THIS , pissed up farang sees girl , girl talks to the foolish farang , a price is agreed , the lady takes him to a hotel she knows, but in the bedroom before anything happens in bursts mum with the manager , irate mum insists on the cops , they arrive , a discussion takes place , numnuts agrees to pay damages to the ladies mum , marched off to the nearest ATM where he is deprived of his dough , usually about 5000 baht , cud be more ? the cop goes ,numnuts goes to a bar with a lighter wallet to reflect on his stupidity , mum banks cash , and sends bitch back on the street for the next inexperienced fresh meat on the block , so the scam starts again .

But peedo's , are there in strength rightly enough , gas the bastards .
