What America Should Do

Here are my ideas on what America needs to do.



Just finish Iraqs insurgency off. It takes 10 years to stop insurgencies. Just wait longer. It doesn't matter anymore if it was a mistake. It should turn out well for the future.



Convert to nuclear energy. It's clean, good for the enviorenment efficent and the most powerful kind of energy. The chances of a melt down are about 0.00000000000000000001. Build about 30 of them in the next 25 years, even if it cost billions. We can raise lots of the money by stopping government welfare. In the mean time drill Alaska dry.



Build a several billion dollar fence on the US Mexico border. Deploy 2 Army divisions there, a Marine Brigade and 2 national guard divisions.



As for the illegal immigrants already in America, I have a 4 point plan for them. They may stay with citizenship if



1. They pay taxes.

2. They pass a backround check.

3. They pass a test.

4. They have a job.



Spend several billion dollars on planting trees to slow down global warming.



As said above, cancel government wefare.



Don't allow anyone who has a high school education have an abortion.



Increase school funding and get rid of the no child left behind policy.



In the future, bomb Iran and NK's nuclear facilities. They can't be trusted. Even if it risks war.



Take jobs away from India. China is catching up to us in terms of industry. Leave the jobs in China so we can keep them in check.



Keep minimum about were it's at for a while, and adjust it with inflation. We are at a point where business owners and employees both benefit.

Where did you get this 10 year time frame? We were in Vietnam for 10 years. They will always be there. They live there. We only visit. The best way is to let a friendly Iraqi government fend off insurgency by itself, with some help from us if needed.

Very good point. What the greenies worry about isn't a meltdown, but of disposal of nuclear waste.

Better idea. Build the fence. Plant a few military bases along the border. That way the soldiers will be on base and on patrol at the same time.

What makes you think global warming can be stopped? Should be stopped? And how to stop it?

As other posters have indicated, what makes you think insurgency will go away in specified period? Why limit it to Iraq? If you weed away Islamic insurgency in Iraq or Pakistan or Afghanistan, it will rear its head in Algeria or Kenya or Bangladesh. All of this with the assumption that in 10 years there will be no insurgency in Iraq. Muslims have a very long memory, they still haven't forgotten Crusades in their scheme of things. Scary, but true.

I've got even worse news for you, outsourcing to India will continue even longer than the insurgency in Iraq.

It's more than that.

The existance of a minimum wage does 2 things:
1. inflates prices
2. encourages some to hire people at below minimum wage to save money

Who's willing to work for less than minimum wage? Illegal immigrants. They're thankful for just having a job.

Most of our illegal immigrants are from Mexico. Our minimum wage is a lavish sum of money to the Mexicans who are willing to risk their lives to come here. They are usually very poor and are used to conditions we Americans would consider inhuman. They use what ever they have to on keeping themselves alive and then send the rest of the money back home. The remittance of Mexican citizens from the United States is the 2nd largest form of income for the Mexican economy. How pathetic is that? And Mexico is home of the 2nd richest man on this earth!!!

The root of the illegal immigrantion problem is the Mexican government. It needs to be eliminated and start anew.
