    I'm wondering, who is producing LCD, MFD-s HUD-s in su-35, or MIG-29M2, SU-30MK2, are there russian comanions or they are from west...

    another q, before soviet union collapsed, which russian plan had the best eletronics, LCD ect ect...

    I believe predominantly, French, Russian, Western European nations, and in some cases India.

      Although not related to aircraft, I know that Russian T-90s use THALES' Catherine FCS. So, at least part of their electronics are imported.

        Sistema has bought a used line from AMD recently. Although it is not capable of making most modern and advanced chips it is good enough for existing requirements of missiles and aircraft.

        Moreover, Russia has created a strategic reserve for all the foreign chips which it accepts for its weapons... Paradox... the LARGEST supplier is Taiwan... and Chinese Su-30MKK has taiwanese chips.
