Russia retreated from kiev because of istanbul deal but ukraine betrayed the deal anyway. Russia could flatten kiev in a day if they didn't care about civilian casualties... you can compare the civilian casualties in iraq invasion by usa vs ukraine invasion by russia in order to know who actually cares about civilians

Well then the Russian Army must have been really keen on that ceasefire deal because they certainly left a lot of valuable military equipment behind in Ukraine in their haste to comply.
