Funny thing is that, when you translate claymore mine into Serbian you get Mr.Dick when translated back to English.

Found souvenirs from 98...I was part of the 30 mm crew at the time, before transferred to direct support 120mm mortar team. My 30 mm shell dwarfs the 20 mil and when it hits human body only boots are remaining.

Well, UD is a official word for an organ or a extended body part,like hand,leg or swinging...Not by using google translate. The official name of this mine goes something like this "directional blast anti personnel mine" or "directed fragmentation anti personnel mine". But when you translate that, very loosely, to English and shorten it so that it could fit on a mine you get MRUD or MR UD. Since UD is a limb or body part is the most common official word for a for sex organ and add MR from English, you get mister willy. Or if you want to go full on without English phrases, you get Master (as a educational degree) Willy.

I finally understand why I was so annoyed by California. That state is absolute representation of entropy and Zero Fucks given life philosophy and attitude towards life. It boggled my mind, I couldn't understand it at all. All the tech, all the money, ocean at couple of miles from shore yet every single year they get absolutely trashed by forest fires. No efforts at early warnings, no efforts at rapid responses, no efforts at means and tactics of tackling the issue, no care of how the image of the US will be ruined by this, nothing, zero, nada, zilch,0. Just endless filibustering of meaningless politics and content creation. They can build an stealth bomber, they can build space stuff, yet they constantly fail to build an decent air fire fighting plane yet they glorify conversions as some sort of high tech wonders.
And we here imported that philosophy whole sale and the efforts show. As of yesterday, our Oil Industry is under Western sanctions and we have 60 days to sort that mess or we wont make it till next winter. Of course,we all know the result.

Well, that’s what one non-Californian thinks, and especially those who haven’t a clue about anything to do with the state.
  • California has some of the most generous, kind, caring people I’ve met in the 40+ states and 40+ countries I’ve been to.
  • The fact that we are less likely to judge you is an asset, not a liability. Think of it as social libertarian-ism.
  • We invented the American film industry, dominated the defense sector, and made it necessary to coin the term “Silicon Valley.”
  • Surf in the morning, ski in the afternoon.
  • More professional sports teams than any other state.
  • More people, too.
  • And, a bigger share of the national economy.
  • Highest mountains (in the 48), lowest deserts.
  • Best sunsets, period.
Oh, and redwoods, baby!
  • Do we get hit by earthquakes every year? Yep.
  • Hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, and snow storms? Not so much.
  • Does the state burn? Sure. What would you do when the climate changes and you suffered decades of drought? Drown? But, no, it isn’t every year.
And, when the aircraft industry builds a super efficient, hugely effective fire-fighting plane, you can be sure we’ll buy the first few hundred.

One of our best characteristics is that we really don’t give a hoot if Mother Nature, taking her course, happens to step on your precious image of how the USA should be seen by other people.

About airplane, is that an offer? Because if it is I'll take it. But seriously bro, I am still having nightmares from having to go and by art supplies on the Market Street. Corner of the Bush and Taylor I consider California, three blocks below, well I hate to say, but even Belgrade is an freaking Beverly Hills.

Аs of today, we got ditched by both East and the West. US has imposed sanctions on our Petroleum Industry and at the same time, Azerbaijan gas supplier has cut off gas supply "for unspecified technical reasons". So...Peak Oil baby, for the third time, for us. This is going to be epic.

Yeah, Market Street (in which city?) is totally representative of 39.4 million people living in 164,000 sq mi (424,000 sq km).
 
San Francisco, I had to jump over homeless people that had all kind of diseases and their brownies on the street...But that wasn't the point of my question. The question is, how is it possible to have such a catastrophe in L.A. while in the same time you have all the tech,money,data, services,agencies in the world? Don't tell me that "it is a force of nature". USGS reports earthquakes in Serbia before our geological survey notices them.

Because when the chips are down weather and geography trumps tech, money and service delivery etc every time.
 
Hey an update on HMPV. I had it and seriously it sucks ass. It starts with the tickling in the nose and throat and than rapidly moves to bronchi and lungs. That is the hardest part because every cough seems like you are coughing your lungs out, its super painful. All the time every bone,muscle limb hurts like being run over by a flock of wild boars. The snot and mucus are extensive and super annoying. You have a fever but its just right to feel you not being able or want to do anything, so you feel super meh all the time. Finally, this is optional, it moves to stomach so you have diarrhea for couple of days.
Now I have common flu and it feels like a holiday, high fever makes me high...:))))
Things that seem to help. Chicken soup but artificial, it really does wonders because salt and some minerals. Tincture from poison ivy is also highly effective.

Consider that driving distance from San Diego in the south to Yreka in the north is only about an hour more than the driving time from Vienna to Paris. Heck, going east to west is at least as far a Vienna to Munich.
Big state.
Large variations.
