At the rate DHS is spending money when will they run out of money.
Google says July.
Will they then all become unemployed?
Will this lead to more debt?
How is feeding and arresting people economically sound?

The cruelty is the point. Make the United States hostile territory to brown people from "shithole countries", as Trump would put it.

And what's more, while his militia is hunting down South American immigrants in the country to expel them, he sends soldiers to pick up two people in Venezuela to bring them to the USA...

It's called being 'reverse ICEed'.

Not quite, the point is to remove, and yes make it hostile for people who are here illegally and commit crimes, and with a help of liberal activist judges they offend over and over and keep walking multiple times, and yes most of them happen to come from shithole countries, notice how those how here legally are not targets for ICE even brown people from shithole countries.

The problem is the lack of training and planning involved. ICE is using random stops and ID checks as a means of attempting to locate illegal immigrants. Apart from breaching the rights of US Citizens (they're randomly stopping off duty Police officers for God's sake purely on the basis of racial profiling) it's also an inefficient use of manpower and a gross waste of taxpayers money. ICE is perfectly capable of performing it's duties without these kind of tactics and with properly trained agents.

But that's not what this is about. The current ops are all about making Trump look 'tough' on illegal immigration. It's about being seen. Not about doing the job properly and efficiently.

The 'lack of training' is a feature, not a bug.

Not when you suddenly accelerate recruitment and lower standards to meet both number & timing deadlines. ICE wasn't renowned for being a 'trigger happy' organization before Trumps second term started.

That is my point. I should have put 'now' on the end.

This is how Trump & Noem & the people runing this show want ICE to be. This is the private army they want behaving the way they want it to. They are literally lying to their employees about what behaviour is legal. They don't want well trained officers, they want aggressive ones who see the people they are dealing with - US citizens included - as 'the enemy'.

Mission accomplished.
