China's Uighur problem

Well, CCP got Peng Shuai to recant what she said on Weibo that sparked this whole drama. Apparently we have all misunderstood.

If there is no complaint there is no crime and no need for any probe.

The WTA isn't buying any of it.

She was pretty explicit in her Weibo post. I think we all got quite clearly what she wanted to convey.

The entire Chinese state machinery is attacking one woman. Simple.

The state media ignored her claims, the diplomats are calling it politicization of sport, the cyber cops are censoring social media by taking down articles linked to Peng Shuai.

And you know the worst part of this ? the alleged assaulter has not even spoken yet

The surprise for me in this clip is that Hu Xijin of GT has been given the sack (!)

Sixteen years in, the CCP's #1 troll is no longer good enough for the job. Can you believe it ?

Because he said recently that it has become hard to do journalism in China.

CCP did not like it and then we learnt Hu Xijin has taken early retirement.

Wow!

Agreed, we can learn a lot from Chinese dissidents or any people that have lived through autocratic rule.
