  • Good Morning Astrails,

S2 suggested I should send you my documentation. As they are in .pdf format, what e-mail address should I send the attachments.

    Ast,

Sorry I haven't responded in a timely fashion. I didn't know (until this moment!) that we had PMs OR "likes" options.

I rather like being able to "like" other people's posts because often, I have nothing to add except that I that I liked their post.

Plus I often "like" posts where I don't actually agree, but I think their post was well thought out and argued.

Now all I have to do is figure out which of these buttons gives me the ability to "like" these posts.
GREAT post on "Will government Grow or Recede" It pretty much mirrors my own POV about this crises.

The vanished equity in the housing market, plus the overhang of RE thanks to bankrupties and foreclosures, coupled with the fact that the median house price is still 50% higher than it ought to be, is NOT going to solved by giving tax break to billionaires, OR by reducing Federal State and Local spending.

Keeping the cost of borrowing from the FED low will solve not a forking thing. EXCEPT for the FED associated Banksters, of course. Obama's (Congressionally neutered) anemic STIMULUS was just too little to offset the trillions already lost by homehowners (with trillions more in losses to come).

WE have a sort of Mexican standoff where everybody is afraid to make a move because nobody can afford to back down from the political rhetoric they've been feeding their clueless Partisans for the last couple decades.
    Part II

My great surprise was to learn that Wikipedia and Google “are your friends,” since that is exactly the source (googling wikipedia) that led to my comment about the origins of what we know a détente. In other words, I used the proper sources to defend my point.

I am also informed that I should “prepare to get some abuse,” but that seems to be something of a one-way street. I can be called a troll, but I can’t ask a moderator to stick to debating rather than name-calling.

I’m told to “be yourself,” which I try to do at all times. For example, since I have over 30 years of professional experience understanding and interpreting 20th (and now, 21st) century China, I made that point. It wasn’t accepted, nor appreciated. Odd.

As for the infractions and point system, no luck.

Finally, I got to Forum Guidelines, where Rule No. 10 is that one cannot criticize a moderator’s actions. There is nothing there about criticizing moderators’ posts, however, so I kept looking.
I'm sending this to you because I find you neutral and cannot seem to send it to a general "admin." If you don't want to deal with it, would you please pass it on?
    Thanks,
    DOR

    Part I

I think I need some instruction as to the rules of conduct around here. Please advise.

Apparently there is something called an infraction, and if a regular member annoys a moderator, this can result is some sort of points system kicking in and, after that a ban. I learned this from first-hand experience.

As soon as this occurred, I searched the FAQ, but the term infraction is not there. It did point me to the User Agreement, so I did a search for that term. I got four pages of typical posts, none of which seems related. In desperation, I went to zraver’s “Completely Unoffical WAB Survival Guide.” Since zraver is the one who penalized me, this seemed promising.

    Hello Astralis,

sorry to bother you again, but for the sake of clarity, could you move post#34 in the thread "The Hawaii Invasion Hypothesis" and make it #1 - it's kind of the presentation, and otherwise it wouldn't be clear.

    Thanks
    Fernando
    Astralis.

could you take a look at the newly created thread "The Hawaii Invasion Hypothesis" and move the posts# 139-172 from the thread "Most decisive battle of World War 2" to the new thread as requested?

    Thanks in advance.
    Fernando
    Astralis,

I'd encourage a merge of the Females in combat thread now in Land forces with the women in combat compendium located in the Staff college. Dept. of Redundancy
