List 12 albums that have stayed with you over the years. Don't over think it. Be impulsive and know that they'd change tomorrow if you did it again.

This has been going around the last several days on Facebook, and I've already discovered some lost treasures that I would have put on my list had I done this again. On a personal note, this was extremely hard, since I am not a real fan of albums, I prefer picking and choosing songs. Anyway, in no particular order:

    1) Shmemel – Helium for the Masses (הליום להמונים, Israeli band)
    2) Pink Floyd – The Wall
    3) Pink Floyd – Wish You Were Here
    4) LostProphets – Liberation Transmission
    5) Gregorian – Masters of Chant
    6) The Offspring – Americana
    7) Green Day – Dookie
    8) Weird Al Yankovic – The Food Album
    9) The Blues Brothers OST
    10) Boston – Boston
    11) Boston – Third Stage
    12) Any recording of Beethoven’s 9th

So now it's your turn. Let's see what your 12 albums are.
Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

This list would change tomorrow. I'm carrying a lot of baggage by this point and tough to discard any of it.

                      1. Peppers-Beatles
                      2. Hwy. 61-Dylan
                      3. Astral Weeks-Van Morrison
                      4. Eat A Peach-ABB
                      5. After Bathing At Baxter's-Jefferson Airplane
                      6. Happy Trails-Quicksilver Messenger Service
                      7. Bare Trees-Fleetwood Mac
                      8. The Band-The Band
                      9. Exile On Main Street-Rolling Stones
                      10. Live At Leeds-The Who

Tantalus and, especially, DOR's list would happily and easily serve as a daily diet.

That's the purpose of this list, knowing that if you were to post this list tomorrow, after seeing some of the other lists, that yours would also change. There is always one more album on someone else's list that will remind you of something you forgot. I've already thought of 3 or 4 more albums I would have put on my list instead of what's on there now.
