Hungarian Air Force. It was never in Afghanistan, it was an air show bird and has since been taken out of service.

Still a sweet paint job though. We had a thread with some stunning aircraft paint jobs around here somewhere...some Japanese Eagles that made your jaw drop.

He was an utterly incapable, unadapted, irresponsible, psychopathic personality, full of empty, infantile fantasies, but cursed with the keen intuition of a rat or a guttersnipe. He represented the shadow, the inferior part of everybody’s personality, in an overwhelming degree, and this was another reason why they fell for him.”

The one with the mountain and trees is one of the two paint schemes that I was thinking of, though the actual pictures I was thinking of showed off to greater effect.
I found some other ones that were pretty cool as well.

Speaking of Japanese Eagles, spotted this example just yesterday in the airliners.net forum:

Bad enough knowing that there is a Hind as aggressor. Brown trus with the paint job.

There may be something to this ...:)
