I'm slowly getting back into ship modeling, something I did a lot when I was younger to emulate my grandfather who was an expert large-scale model maker and now has his 5ftL x 4ftH model of the USS Constitution onboard the ship in Boston. Just before I moved away from the hobby in my early teens, I did some work with 1/700 waterline models from Tamiya.
Though tiny (about 1& 1/2 ft for a Carrier), they are highly detailed for plastic kit models. Has anybody else worked with these?
