Would you really go to the Jewish version of hell for eating bacon? That said, I have drank with many Muslim dudes, they drink at night when it's dark. Their logic is that God can't see them.

I didn't get a chance to try it out. My son took one look at it and it was gone. It now resides 300 miles away and everyone thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread. It took a bit of getting used to apparently but once conquered it was hardly off. They are BBQ freaks anyway and most of their meals are al fresco from early May until the end of this month. Monday to Friday they live at home and use a Gas BBQ. Friday early PM to Sunday PM they live in a 38' static by the sea and use a charcoal BBQ and the Korean. Not one visitor, and they have many, have ever seen one before but they all agree it a nice piece of kit.

        • My next one will be the cast iron Korean BBQ that can be used on the hob or gas stove... or I am thinking on top of a chiminea for evening dining. This one will NOT be leaving home. ;)

          • Pork loin steaks, done medium, nicely spiced and with a nice coating of Sweet Baby Ray's and fried shalots. With 2 baked potatoes, liberally sprinkled with salt and fresh ground pepper, covered with spring onion and soon to be doused in sour cream. With beer and corn.

            Good eatin!

            • Besides the corn, looks delicious.

And I see you got yourself a nice Belgian beer, on top of it in cans. Hope it was chilled right.

Sacrilege! I am wolfing down the corn grown in my garden. Tonight, tomorrow, the next night etc, until it is all gone.

Pardon my ignorance but is that a standard dinner plate in your neck of the woods?

Between potatoes and the corn, potatoes always win me. And having corn on top of that is just too much starch for me.

Otherwise, corn is perfectly good for a lot of dishes, even this one, if you get the potatoes out of the mix ;)

Meat and potatoes is my standard. I can't imagine life without potatoes. Baked, mashed, french fried, home fried for breakfast. It's all good. And if I am on a bender, then it's vodka! Potatoes rock.

Thats what it looked like to me (a cutting board) but with an international audience you never know.
