    Brigadier,

Good to see you here. I'll look forward to your thoughts on a number of disparate but compelling issues.

It is a long time since I visited here. Tronic pointed my nose to this thread. I am glad he did.

I sincerely hope you get well. We have had a great time together on this Forum.

No, you did not waste your time in the army, nor have you lost in life.

You did what you thought was right. You did it do what you did not to win elections but what you thought was right for your country and so how does it matter what others think? You did it for your COUNTRY! Never forget that even if others do.

          Sir,

It's good to see you here. I get maybe 2-3 hours of clear thoughts a day before the drugs just tire me out. Some days are better than others. Others, I rushed thoughts through, trying to do too much. Others, I'm just tired of it all.

The last few times this happened, they last a month or so before my body is well rested enough to handle the drugs again.

I read all this violence and I should have known better but what was the point if we can't stop it. The point was not stopping it. The point was to not let the bad guy win.

I'm just tired of it all.

It's good to read your thoughts again.

          Good Day, Brigadier.

Sir, I'm praying for your recovery. If there is anything I can do - please let me know. I've been through the wringer with illness and meds myself and understand how difficult it is. May the Lord be with you. Thank you for taking the time to be with us.

                Thanks.

Colonel's health was posted to me by Tronic and I said I must come hotfoot and cheer him up!

                What are friends for?

It was the Colonel;'s post that brought me here in the first place.

I can't abandon the Colonel when he needs us most.

I am sure many of us here would agree on that.

Ray!!! Good to see you back here, sir.

OOE, cheer up, sir. No need to let bad guys get to you like that. Losing your faith in your fellow good guys means the bad guys got to you. Have faith in yourself, in your family and friends, in people who believe in your cuase, and if you are a religious man, have faith in God.

I wish you a speedy recovery.

                    Gentlemen,

I thank you but it is what it is. Docs say I have years and decades ahead of me if I take care of myself right which I intend to do. I'm eating right. I'm exercising. And truth be told, I got my six pack back. The last time I saw my six pack was before I got married. And I got it back after I'm divorced. Says alot about my ex wife.

But my body is adjusting again. I could feel myself getting better but ex-wife, #1 Daughter is dragging my attention down. And the dogs look so sad eye ... even though I know I took them out for the 4th time today.
