Now those are some ugly people. Even the lawyer is ugly.
Yea but ugly or not , they have one thing in common , his money , and he will , and can , flount the law with it , sharia as of yet is unlawful , but it goes on
It sounds like the parent made a mistake, doing what he did in a public park, after the fact - with witnesses who only saw the second act of the story. Had he done it when it happened - it might have gone better for him.

Of course not Sir , however there are mitigating circumstances ,witnesses saw it , the guy acted because his son was shot , I read sometime ago what you would do in the event of child molestation ( which could include your kid being shot ) if it was against your child ,, the law would ,according to you , never came into it , and the actions that would ensue ,,and neither did citizens arrest .
However in this case with the gift of detection and hindsight after storming his home , sanity seems to have prevailed .;)
The thread about what would happen if one of our children was molested concerned an adult perpetrating the crime.
This is 2 juveniles. One shooting the other with a BB gun.
I'm not confronting the kid in that instance. I will go out of my way to talk to the childs father though. Just to make sure he knows whats going on.
And it was being shot with a BB gun. If that was a law when I was growing up. Every kid in my old neighborhood would have a record. Its what kids do.
Our parents never went to the cops about this. When it got out of hand, the father took care of it.

Not in the UK it doesnt , maybe in the wild west but not here , kids get stopped with imitation toy guns now ? paranoia i know but thats the way it is here now, maybe going to see the kids dad may have gotten him a broken jaw , then what , forget it ,he's a wimp , shit happens huh , buuuuuuuut i get your point G/G . And I would have sorted it like you say ;)
I still say .
The law in the UK is a joke , not just for this case .
But you say you and your mate could have gotten into a big brawl , why's that ? defensive mode is it ? the young lads dad was being defensive as well , no brawl but tried to do the correct thing as he saw it .
I've got three, one a rugged boy who liked to mix it up in rough play with other boys.
If there was a malicious attack on him, I can honestly say I'd do two things in sequence....
1) I'd approach the other boy's father. One minute of conversation, and I think I'd be able to see in his eyes, and how he reacts, if he's going to take care of it in a satisfactory way. If not...
2) I'd gather witnesses and make a complaint to police. Going to the police for childhood conflicts is to me always a last resort.
This would apply to minor dust-ups like a fistfight, minor theft, vandalism, bullying. If a more serious crime occurs, like a dangerous assault, or especially a sexual attack on my girls, I'd go to the cops immediately. And I've mentioned many times, if there had been a sexual assault or rape, and the perp skated on some technicality, I'd have vengeance, and I'd not get caught. There are certain things a father simply cannot abide.
It takes a huge amount of courage to burgle somebody
Here in Texas, it does!
It's hard not to agree though that our concept of prison doesn't work. And having them flush with drugs doesn't help. How about this... instead of 15 or 20 years for non-violent crimes, make it 2 to 4 years of hard labor at a remote prison with no visitation. Such a facility would have a sterile zone around it, unpassable by non-employees. 12 to 14 hours of breaking rock or clearing forest leaves little time for jail shenanigans and drug peddling. They'll sweat out any heroin or meth in their systems and be stone-cold sober when they get out. And not having decades ahead of you would (I'd think) motivate one to get through it, get clean, straighten up.
The judge should never be allowed to judge again IMO, he even admits he knows hes gonna get slayed for what he said and did :slap:
I wouldn't want him in court near me - boosting a criminal's ego and telling him good boy. I've seen hardened criminals get breaks before - they often take full advantage of them to commit new crimes and then say it isn't their fault. This guy isn't a harmless pot smoker with a plant in his closet, he's a burglar.

He is more than that m8 , but no words can describe this situation , but JOKE seems to cover it adequately , lets hope one or all of his victims meet up with them piles of excreta for an , err hmmmmm , ah yes , a reunion

Yea but then these little baggy panted punks would start bitchin bout their human rights and all that. Great idea though.
