    Was a little stunned to see this earlier flash by. Thought she is pretty young and obviously didn't know about the pancreatic cancer. She still had more to give as a role model for girls in science. RIP

        One of my uncles by marriage passed away from pancreatic cancer. He was a hero to many thousands in his small home town called Webster City, Iowa. I was not able to attend the memorial service but I did get to see him one last time before he passed away. Thousands came to attend the memorial service.
