The suspected truck driver was a 23-year old migrant from Pakistan who was known to police for minor offences and used several names, a German security source has told Reuters news agency.
Nah, but there is no confirmation of this from any side. Same suspect was occasionally also identified as Afghan during the night. Supposed first name is actually Persian Afghan, but commonly used in Pakistan and India.
This has not been finalized yet. Shortly after the accident a suspect was arrested. According to information from SPIEGEL ONLINE, the suspect Naved (or Navid) B. According to authorities, he is said to be 23 years old and come from Pakistan. On 1 February 2016, he was therefore admitted to Germany, he has a residence permit since 2 June 2016. However, the information must be considered with caution. The suspected perpetrator could have operated with fake documents and alias names.
News agencies report that the suspect had been police-armed earlier on the grounds of minor offenses.
It's also reported now that the Polish passenger was found shot to death in the cabin.
Learning in this case presumes admitting of being wrong.Human tendency is not to stop digging the hole, but dig deeper.

Last Merkel's statement is especially hilarious, when she said that it will be especially disgusting if it turns out that the attacker was an refugee...Well duh. Except that he wasn't a refugee or a migrant but an member of an invading army that is perfectly is aligned to the cause and the mission. Its not his fault, it is yours.
And oh boy, they are coordinated, ambassador in Turkey and the truck in Berlin...They have come of age, fast.
Kebab is protected by hello kitty, so remove the kitty and than remove the kebab. However removing hello kitty is much more difficult as she woves the kebab so wewy much and she is friend with the birdy that also loves kebab. So we will have to remove all three of them at once otherwise kebab wins.
You know, the "digging deeper" analogy is quite apt when looking at that statement.
And yes - i'm referring to July 1995, not April 1867.
Well, we didn't knew than that the game was rigged. Frankly there is no difference between April 1867 and July 1995 from that point of view. As you know, before 1867 there was 1862...
Arrested guy is rejecting all accusations, which does not really fit established patterns. The guy was arrested about 1.5 km from the site after a witness claims to have followed him from there.
Despite claims from the Washington Times citing Iraqi officials that supposedly monitor an encrypted messaging app used by Isis no group has officially claimed the attack yet either.
