The problem is with proportion. You go over a certain level of B's inserted into A's,you get two different tribes vying for the same resources and land.
In Europe the situation is already fvcked up.In the comning decades we're facing a dual insurgency. One started by the threatened people of the West.Another started by the settlers. You have class warfare, cultural problems, different ethnicities making up a very explosive recipe.

Agreed completely. But Australiaa's concept hasto be improved.Given the amount of people that are on the move and that will soon get on the move,we're talking managing camps the size of countries, without solving the root problem.Solving the problem means our money, soldiers and administrators.
Basically,Europe might be forced into rebuilding the colonial empires.
Thats a dark view of history. While ethnic conflict is very common with a dozen going on at any given time, genocides are somewhat rarer. The right wing in Europe does present the refugee crisis in apocalyptic terms, but out of the 60 million or so refugees that are currently in the world, barely 2-3% have made their way to Europe. Even in the worst case projections for the next few years, the figure is not going to rise much above 5%. The countries with the largest number of refugees at the moment are Jordan, Turkey and Pakistan with a combined number of more than 5 million who are registered, the total numbers might be even more. Turkey and Jordan are relatively peaceful countries inspite of this.

So I don't have a lot of sympathy for Europe in this regard, especially given that it is much wealthier than Jordan or Pakistan, even though I agree that encouraging mass migration and asylum 'shopping' is very bad policy.

    • I don't think it is particularly dark. But I don't shirk away from the important things. You are right that ethnic conflicts happen all the time.Cleansing a territory by killing or chasing people away happens more rarely, indeed. But has far more lasting effects.
The long term issue here is not about the 2 millions that came in the previous 3-4 years. The issue is that W Europe went from 0 to 10 % in 50 years. And the fighting age men in the next 15-20 years will be aproximately equal in numbers even if 0 migrants ever step in Europe again. The overall population may still favor Europeans at the voting station, but the relevant demographic, the young, will not be so favourable. If we consider that migration will not stop, for various reasons, right away, the medium/long term prospect is a serious insurgency.
I am quite sure the prospect of Europe going from the master of the world to the whore of the world will raise smiles for many, otherwise decent people. And too little sympathy.

      • Germany will put a couple extra countries on the list of safe countries of origin, joining the six former Yugoslav countries, Ghana and Senegal.

No qualms within the government about:

        - Algeria
        - Morocco

The right-wing government coalition partner CDU and center-left coalition partner SPD both want to add:

        - Tunisia

The right-most government coalition partner CSU wants to add:

        - the remaining European countries except Russia (meaning Moldova and Ukraine)
        - Armenia and Georgia (not Azerbaijan)
        - India and Bangladesh (not Pakistan)
        - Mali (where we're just upping our military engagement)
        - Nigeria (Boko Haram ain't a threat, right)
        - Mongolia
        - Benin
        - Gambia (was on the list before in the early 90s)

Yes, they initially forgot Tunisia - they've since added it to their proposal, which is being discussed in the senate today. Mali is a sheer provocation, given that they called for it right before the mandate for the military engagement there was passed - and in case anyone wonders, yes it's not some peaceful mission. Last firefight in the prospective German sector was: today. Three soldiers KIA. Benin and Mongolia are only on the list because there's a number of other EU countries - four for Benin - that have it with a similar status (that's their reasoning for the entire list - more than one other country does it, we gotta do it too); there's only about 500 asylum seekers per year in Germany from Benin.

Placing countries on the list is - always - mostly a political tool used reactively to "calm" the population. Back in the early 90s it hit "the Blacks" (while we were happily letting in millions of people from the Soviet Union), last year it hit "those people from the Balkans" (perceived mostly as gypsies and welfare cases) and now it's "those north-African Southerners" (due to Cologne). The CSU proposal is the all-round swing against ... well, anyone with not white skin and noticable numbers of refugees applying. And those shifty Eastern-Europeans on top.

        • P.S.: Tension in my state is a bit right now after some neonazis tossed a hand grenade into a refugee camp last night. Yugoslav black market model. Landed right next to the container with the security guards.

              Neonazis are not true Nazis.

True Nazis are socialists with a racial superiority overtone.

              Neonazis are racist punks.

"maybe they will get fined 200 euros, but nothing much" for attacking elderly and attempted sexual harassment. So much for tolerance. All thanks to lefties.

                  • Shocking footage of the assault this week showed the three men roughly seizing one elderly man by the arms, pinning him against the rail and shouting abuse at him.

A second elderly man can be seen grappling with one of the gang, before he is held up by the neck and threatened.
Unless injuries occured - and by injuries we're talking physical injuries - the crime committed here is insult and coercion. Maximum sentence for insult in combination with physical violence is two years or a fine.
The maximum possible sentencing for this crime has been identical since 1876 - since introduction of the relevant law article. Until 1969 maximum fine was limited to 750 Euro; this maximum was then raised to 360 days worth of wages or maximum 10.8 million Euro depending on the income of the perpetrator.

"Attempted sexual harassment" is not a crime in Germany. Never was. What is that anyway? Sounds like some PC BS invented by lefties, to use the current right fad of language.

Get over it with the "leftie" crap. Our criminal code was written in the 1870s when even social democrats were outlawed as "too communist" and were revised in the 1960s when the last Grand Coalition used its massive parliamentary weight to massively curtail civil rights in Germany.

Unless they want to make an example, sentence will probably be in the region of 90-120 days worth of wages (provided they were the attackers, and not defending themselves - which doesn't look unlikely from the story and pictures!), i.e. if the guys don't work minimum fine would be around 1500-2000 Euro. They'd probably try to buy them off with a fine offer of around a thousand to save money on court costs. If they can't pay they'll sit in jail for a couple months.

yeah, a bunch of young and strong afghans defended themselves from a few racist german elderly. Seem likely!

and whats your point of writing such long, nonsense stuff? To prove that the police spokeman was lying when he said "maybe they will get fined 200 euros, but nothing much"?

and it such coincidence thats almost none of lefties' media (cnn, bbc, ny times, guardian...) ever mentioned this incident.

Socialism, as practiced, has always been a class of elitist controlling the masses, telling them what the greater good is and about "shared sacrifices." Fits perfectly, I thought.

And Putin says ,, fuck you have some of this .And these refugees were spending money like it was going out of fashion ,,,refufkingees my bollox .

We can't speak for Europe, but in Russia, molesting women in public places is not advisable.

A group of approximately 50 "refugees" who were deported from Norway for bad behavior decided to partake in a bit of groping at a Murmansk nightclub.

Being Russia, the results were predictable:

The refugees allegedly groped and harassed women in a similar manner as the assaults in Cologne on New Year’s Eve. A group of male Russians took them aside to “educate” them that “Cologne is 2,500 kilometers south of here.”

The refugees tried to flee but were quickly captured by the Russians. They then took them out to the street and gave them a beating they will remember. Police arrived to break up the fight but locals report that they threw a few punches at the refugees before arresting 33 of them. Eighteen refugees were in such bad condition they had to be taken to hospital.
We don't want to romanticize vigilante justice, but in a civilized society, assaulting women (or anyone, for that matter) should have swift, painful consequences. Ball's in your court, Europe.

                                So, what's new in Russia?

Beating up anyone who doesn't look aryan-slavic, even so much as squints an eye towards anything that might insult Mother Russia or Daddy Putin and isn't piss drunk like all of them all the time seems to be a regular sport there. For decades now.
