    We had Omar Bradley's M-2 at the Pentagon. Kind of beat up. ;) I own an M-1 carbine manufactured by the Singer Sewing Machine Company. :) I'd love to own an M-2 but the fully automatic thing kind of precludes that from happening.

      Only as far as the overinflated prices since 1987 (thank you Bush 1) goes. They should still be on the market.

      I remember as a kid trying to talk my dad into buying a full auto (I was around 12 - 13). We were seriously considering an M3 for ~$350 IIRC (this was back in the early 80s) but my dad felt that was way too much money for what he termed a piece of crap. He'd crap himself if he ever saw what they go for now - talk about missed investments.
