Bill Maher and Megyn Kelly debate whether another Donald Trump presidency would be a deterrent to "dictator countries" - or turn the United States into one.
Parihaka, I'll be very honest, I was not really fond of you when I joined the forum, and thru few years i've been actively posting, But now you are one the few sane people here. IDK who changed you or me, but. I wish you all the best.
This place will be very interesting to visit tomorrow, after the election. Looking forward to it.

I think P gave up posting on WAB some time ago so unfortunately so I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a response. Although if Trump gets in again as is looking increasingly likely? He might come back just to gloat!

29 November 2024 The Military America Needs
(63 min, 12 sec)
Last week, President Biden finally (belatedly) allowed Ukraine to use U.S.-supplied long-range missiles to strike military targets in Russia. This made Vladimir Putin very angry.
Some argue that we should be careful to not anger or provoke Putin and that if he issues threats, then we had better back down. But such weakness only emboldens Putin and his axis of aggressors in Tehran, Beijing, and Pyongyang who are helping him wage his illegal war in Ukraine.
In exchange for Russian weapons that can be used to target commercial shipping and U.S. Navy vessels, Tehran-backed Houthi rebels helped Putin recruit hundreds of Yemenis to fight in Ukraine; North Korea has provided Putin some 10,000 soldiers; and China’s communist rulers in Beijing are also supporting Putin’s illegal war in Ukraine.
Despite a bleak reality, FDD’s Mark Montgomery says in a new essay for a report published by the Vandenberg Coalition and the McCain Institute that “there is much the incoming administration can do to improve U.S. military capabilities to deter and, if necessary, defeat potential threats.”
BTW Biden's 'approval' of the use of long range strike munitions in Russia is literally a storm in a tea cup. This is because its apparently limited to the the area of Russia currently occupied by Ukrainian troops and literary no where else FFS! According to the reports I've seen? That means all other areas are still off limits. So the net effect of this 'bold' decision is more or less zero.
