    A piece of Marine Corps history

    I came across this thead on Calguns. I thought I should share it and some of you might be interested.

    This is a story of a man who bought a S&W 1917, saw the name of the former owner stippled onto the grip, and set about to find out more about him.

    There are some amazing things posted in the thread. I don't want to ruin it for you guys. You will have to read through the whole thing. ;)
