The Government is to fund 200 new jobs for unemployed youngsters at Football League clubs, Work and Pensions Secretary Yvette Cooper is due to announce.

Every one of the 72 clubs in the Championship, League One and League Two is to recruit up to three new staff as part of the 1 billion Future Jobs Fund.

Another 2,000 positions are to be created in community sports, giving the young unemployed the chance to learn coaching and training skills for charities and public bodies.

The jobs have arisen out of Government partnerships with the Football League Trust and the National Skills Academy for Sports.

They are among 150,000 jobs set up under the Future Jobs Fund - 100,000 of which have been targeted at young people and 50,000 at unemployment blackspots.

Youngsters can apply for the positions only when they have been unemployed for 10 months.

The announcement will be made at the TUC conference in Liverpool as ministers seek to demonstrate how Labour is helping people through the recession.

Ms Cooper said: "We're determined to do everything we can to help young people get their first job despite the recession. Never again must we see a generation lost to work as we did in the 80s and 90s. That's why its so important that sports clubs across the country have now signed up to do their bit to give thousands of young people a kick start in their careers.

"So far our innovative Future Jobs Fund has provided the money to create over 50,000 jobs for young people and those in the hardest hit communities. We know things will be tougher for some time and unemployment is likely to keep increasing for a while even once the economy is growing. But that's why we're so determined to keep increasing support so that young people can get the jobs and training they need

A good idea would be to gather all the illegals , deport them and give the kids their jobs , like the ones who were cleaners , IN THE HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT ,

But this idea hopefully will give them a sense of belonging and maybe some respect and maturity
