  • Ominous Rumblings

    Greetings gentlemen and others,
I have a question to put to you learned folk, if I may.

How likely do you think it is for the shooting to start in the current Andean situation?

If one looks at it, this is the first major military mobilization between Venezuela and Colombia in the entire conflict period.

Then, given that America is closely allied to Colombia, what are the chances of direct support of she (Colombia) is attacked by both leftist countries (Ecuador and Venezuela) at the same time?

This question is based on the premise that the USA would not want to lose it's foothold in South America.

Now, I have been in similar situations on the African Continent before and my gut feel has always been right.

    What do you folk think?

On a personal level I also have a couple of kids traveling in the area right now.

    Regards.

    Bodie.

Seems like the situation has been resolved.

The "leaders" have kissed and made up.

The kids are on a boat on the Amazon.

    I am quite pleased.
