First of Many Cancellations: PGA Strips Trump of the 2022 PGA

    https://www.thestreet.com/mishtalk/p...f-the-2022-pga

Golfweek reports the 2022 Trump Bedminster PGA Championship will be cancelled.First of Many

In the first of many cancellations to come PGA will strip Trump Bedminster of 2022 PGA Championship.
The PGA of America will strip Donald Trump of the 2022 PGA Championship, which is scheduled to be held at Trump National Bedminster golf club in New Jersey.

In a blistering column that says the golf world must sever all ties with Trump, Golfweek’s Eamon Lynch said the PGA has been debating for two years the need to move the major championship and, once Trump is out of office, will announce the tournament will be played elsewhere.

    Golfweek Column Excerpts
When historians eventually tally the cost of the Donald Trump era, the manifold indecencies of which culminated in Wednesday’s sacking of the United States Capitol during a failed insurrection, golf will not be counted among its casualties.

The game will instead be portrayed as Trump’s refuge, something he did while ignoring a pandemic that has claimed 365,000 lives, refusing to acknowledge a resounding electoral defeat, and inciting feeble-minded fascists to violence that left five people dead at the opposite end of Pennsylvania Avenue.

    That’s the best case scenario.

Oh how I would have loved to see his face when he heard about this.I'll bet in all his four years in office this PGA event was nearest and dearest to him above many other issues.

Stripe Stops Processing Payments for Trump Campaign Website

    https://www.wsj.com/articles/stripe-...te-11610319116

Stripe Inc. will no longer process payments for President Trump’s campaign website following last week’s riot at the Capitol, according to people familiar with the matter.

The financial-technology company handles card payments for millions of online businesses and e-commerce platforms, including Mr. Trump’s campaign website and online fundraising apparatus. Stripe is cutting off the president’s campaign account for violating its policies against encouraging violence, the people said.

Spokespeople for the Trump campaign didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

Stripe asks users to agree that they won’t accept payments for “high risk” activities, including for any business or organization that “engages in, encourages, promotes or celebrates unlawful violence or physical harm to persons or property,” according to its website.

The company has previously disabled accounts in the wake of violent acts. After a gunman killed 11 people in an attack on a Pittsburgh synagogue in 2018, Stripe cut off Gab.com—the right-wing social-media platform where the alleged shooter posted anti-Semitic messages.

Shopify Takes Trump Organization and Campaign Stores Offline

E-commerce platform removes sites affiliated with President Trump for violating policy against promoting violence

TORONTO—Online stores run by the Trump Organization and Trump campaign were taken offline on Thursday by Shopify Inc., an e-commerce software provider, in response to Wednesday’s riot at the U.S. Capitol.

Visitors to TrumpStore.com and shop.donaldjtrump.com, which sold official Trump branded apparel, “Make America Great Again” hats and other merchandise, were greeted with error messages on Thursday morning.

A Shopify spokeswoman said President Trump violated the company’s policy, which prohibits retailers on the platform from promoting or supporting organizations or people that promote violence. “As a result, we have terminated stores affiliated with President Trump,” the company said.

The sites were taken down Thursday morning after the company’s trust and safety team, which monitors the platform, decided Mr. Trump’s comments on Wednesday violated the policy, the spokeswoman said.

Twitter and Facebook locked the president’s accounts on their social media sites after Wednesday’s events.

TrumpStore.com is the official e-commerce site of the Trump Organization and shop.donaldjtrump.com is the Trump campaign’s official store.

Representatives for the Trump Organization, the umbrella company overseeing the president’s real estate and branding business, didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.

Which prejudice are you imagining this time? Oh, conservatives? Yeah, no, not a prejudice, just the past history of conservatives with regards to homosexuals.

Unless of course it wasn't conservatives that pushed through DOMA?

Hope you did some stretching before that leap of imagination. I don't really care if you're insulted by the act of fellatio upon Donald Trump or not.

And I'm not prejudiced against homosexuality. I leave that sort of shit for conservatives.

Homophobic? No, you need to look up the definition of homophobic. What I said was not homophobic. I have no problem with anyone loving anyone they choose, assuming they're not hurting someone else.

    ho·mo·pho·bic
    /ˌhōməˈfōbik/

    adjective
    1. having or showing a dislike of or prejudice against homosexual people.

I assume of course that you're not a homosexual.
