SIG is allegedly selling at cost. It seems, they learned something from losing to the Beretta entry.

I'm pretty sure hollow points are issued at limited quantities, as terrorists are not legal combatants under the Hague. MPs probably have them too.

If Beretta had evolved the chassis system of their Nano model, Beretta could have had a modular pistol but the concept has languished with Beretta.

The last go around Sig had the lower price per unit but after some manipulations barretta had the lowest price after all the bells and whistles were added. This time no one had anything close to the modular system Sig offered.

The modular play of the p320 is very interesting, essentially several guns in one package. Allows armors to equip them differently based on personnel needs.

If Sig keeps the quality up while making the mass quantities needed, the army is going to have one hell of a gun.
