Don't know about the Ruger part, the 1911 part is excellent! You now have an example of the finest firearm on the planet! I like it! :Dancing-Banana:

              • We can reach a conclusion that Colt M-4 is preferred weapon among Israelis. Both males and females.

Depends where you serve. It used to be that the infantry units got M-16s with adjustable stocks and shortened barrels, while the armor and artillery had to lug around Galils and Glilons. As the Glilons grew older, the armor and artillery also started getting the same M-16s the infantry were getting, in many cases hand-me downs as the infantry got newer ones. At about the same time the infantry also started adopting M-4s, and the REMfs also started getting M-16s instead of Glilons. Now we're up to the IMI Tavor. The infantry carries around IMI Tavors, M-4s and very rarely, M-16s. The armor and artillery and the REMFs still get M-16s, about 5 years ago the armor and artillery started getting M-4s that began to trickle down from the infantry units.

In my unit, I was given an M-4 with a Trijicon ACOG 4x scope because I was a designated marksman, having received my original training on an M-16A2E3 with the same scope with a heightened stock and a Harris bipod. Out of a unit of 60 men, 8 of us got M-4s. I don't think the situation has changed much since I got out.

It makes sense that the infantry units always got the better guns, because armor and artillery only do infantry stuff as a secondary mission, but it still was annoying carrying around large, heavy guns when lighter, better material was being given out to the damned grunts.

Now, this is just the regular standing army. Don't forget that the IDF also needs to pack away enough guns to arm the Reserves if and when there's a full blown call-up

If I had to guess, it'd be PT-111. Seems like a right size for a lady.

The PT-909 is fairly compact (7in) and light (1.76lb). Very dependable and good for a purse carry.

Nah. It's very safe where I live. At any rate, I've been kick-boxing since my early teens. At slightly over 6', my kick-radius is fairly generous ;)
