Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

Abusing Yellow is meant to be a labor of love, not something you sell to the highest bidder.

        • Depends. Has Yellow ever dressed up as a Syrian infantry soldier?

Which range is it, I was a member at one when I was out there, can't recall the name, had a black shirt with white letters, name of the range, it was near Irvine. Had a divider the split the range into 2 sections. I think it was "on target range". Also used to shoot at one just south of Monrovia, back in the 80s. Looked it up, it is in Monrovia, Santa Anita Range.

On Target is near Irvine, I think south Orange County.

There are some revolution in design but they didn't get popular because they are not "leaps and bounds" over what we currently have. Caseless ammo really isn't all that. OICW is too complex for battlefield use. The ROI is too low. Look at the proposed replacement for the legendary Ma Deuce. They look neat and are lighter, but they do essentially the same thing. M2 has been working well for over 70 years so why change it for minimal gain?

The next thing people are working on is the concept pioneered by Russians in the 1990s...forgot the name...ultra burst? It is to fire 2 to 3 rounds out of a rifle before the recoil impulse of the 1st round is transmitted to the shooter. US Army is interested in this concept. Then again, the Pentagon is interested in all gadgets and gizmos.

Optics only affect rifles. Polymer frame impact sidearms way more. Since I don't care much for polymer frames, you are correct in that optics affect me more than polymer.

I have 2 Glocks and that's enough for me. However I can't seem to have enough metal guns.
AN 94(Avtomat Nikonova) Abakan was the thing you talked about.
The big thing today is modularity.Personally I'll be fine with AK platform until they come with some science fiction energy weapons Caseless ammo could work(IIRC G11 was ready to go from a tech pov in early 90's),but darn economics(and I fear damn bureacratic inertia even more) still hamper progress.

Unless you can put stuff like this consistently, you're just lucky.Still, you can brag about it

Not any SIG.Only SIG P210.That's a jewel and costs as one. Also SIG 550 is the best AK ever.
