There is a movement underway to separate the state into two.

One will consists of the coastal region from Marin county in the north to LA county in the south. This place is full of moonbat crazy liberal hippie treehuggers. They are free to tax themselves to death and drive their hybrid cars. The rest of "working" California will form a part time state government that is friendly to businesses and create jobs by lowering taxes.

Yeah....the Kings will win the Stanley Cup this year and I'll be the first man to walk on Mars.

I was feeling irrate a few weeks ago and sent the Governator an e-mail saying he could raise some revenue for the state of CA by making ccw permits "shall issue" and charging 100 bucks, figured that would net the state a few million.....never heard back.

Liberals prefer to go broke than to find a practical solution to problems.

Look at their anti-smoking campaign. More and more states rely on ever increasing tobacco "sin" tax to provide revenue. Yet they pour money into anti-smoking campaign to deprive themselves of this revenue stream. It makes no sense.

Did you hear about the new bill on Ahnold's desk? It would ban online sales of ammo to California; set a limit of 50 rounds per person per month; and requires record keeping on the dealer's part and thumb-printing of the customers at the time of transaction.

I saw some 380 ammo a few weeks ago at $18/box. I would have bought some, but I don't have a 380.

CCW permit? In Kommiefornia? Surely you jest. Only the well connected democrat anti-gun politicians like Feinstein and Perata can get those. The new OC sheriff is a known anti CCW from LA. She not only won't issue new ones, she wanted to prematurely expire existing CCWs. There are more than 3 million residents in OC and only 1400 CCW permits.

Really? What don't you like about it? I thought 20 ga. shells are more expensive than 12 ga. I buy guns that are cheap to shoot. Unless it's a sexy Beretta 84.

I bought the 2 12s when I moved out here because my shooting buddy was eager to teach me trap and skeet. I got the side-by-side on my own because I can't resist "cowboy things" and I didn't know any better, then I picked up the pump action because that's what I should have gotten in the first place. Anyway, my shooting buddy stopped shooting and I never did do any trap or skeet, so I have 2 shotguns I don't use.

Whenever I think of guns I want, I start thinking of guns I don't shoot that I might sell. I'd love a little 16 ga coach gun for fun and would gladly dump the Baikal to make that happen. The pump 12 I'll keep because it's a pump 12. :)

So far, for all my yapping, the only one I've ever sold was the Beretta 96 in .40
