There's a leaked internal threat analysis document of the German Federal Criminal Police warning about anti-lockdown activists possibly attacking companies producing vaccines or vaccination centers.

Background is that there was a "Querdenken" protest planned for tomorrow at BioNTech, the German company that brought out the first vaccine with Pfizer (the city of Mainz offered the protesters a different location and referred to restrictions, the protest announcement was withdrawn subsequently). The police document states that in such locations "damages will be likely" and "physical attacks possible", and that the likelihood of such attempts is relatively high due to high media exposure.

Foreign and industrial espionage - both on-site and via cyber domain - are also considered a threat in the document, in addition to theft (although that risk is considered low). The German government is currently in the process of forming a strategy to vaccination logistics. The German military has offered providing transport and guarded storage for vaccines in that context.

Querdenken is now formally under observation by State Domestic Intelligence as an extremist group in Baden-Württemberg state. Other states as well as the federal domestic intelligence service are evaluating joining in on that; in neighboring Bavaria Querdenken isn't under observation as a group, but individuals within it for their activity.

Primary items cited for extremism seem to be:
      • organizational overlap with Reichsbürger "sovereign citizen" groups, in particular in recent weeks
      • conceptual overlap with anti-semitic and conspiracy theorist groups
      • attempts to overthrow constitutional order by intending to enact a new constitution
      • activities related to the group such as the attempted storming of the federal parliament on August 30th

Police and courts nationwide have been more active in hindering Querdenken protests. Some images from Mannheim next door to me last weekend, and that's for a protest group with a range of 700 people on Telegram of which 10% actually attended:

Click image for larger version Name:	mannheim.jpg Views:	0 Size:	99.1 KB ID:	1569648And yes, that's a good old TM-170 APC on the right. Barricade configuration, remote-controlled equipment/weapon mount on top not used. The bigger trucks in the back are watercannons.

Click image for larger version Name:	image_9205.jpg Views:	3 Size:	99.8 KB ID:	1569649 Can't forget about doing it the traditional way either. The other traditional escalation method - dogs - was absent.

Setup above seems to be pretty standard at Querdenken protests throughout Germany in the last 2-3 weeks. Berlin actually fired watercannons on protesters for the first time since 2013 three weeks ago. For Mannheim: Out of 70 people that police "intervened with" 50 were banned from the city for the day, 10 got fines for not wearing masks and 7 were arrested for violating a court ban for the assembly. Mannheim also has a curfew due to being a hotspot, i.e. anyone on the street after 9 pm gets fined.

Police in Bavaria yesterday searched three apartments in connection with a sabotage attack on railways by anti-lockdown activists on January 6th. Several banners with political slogans had been arranged to block a high-speed rail line. One of the banners was rammed, leading to an emergency braking and the train being lightly damaged.

Under German criminal law the act is considered terrorism if committed by a group. Similar attacks on railways are relatively common.

            Somewhat related:

In Den Helder in the Netherlands a 37-year-old man was arrested in mid-March for planning to bomb the former town hall of the city due to its current use to vaccinate people against Covid.

            https://abcnews.go.com/Health/wireSt...enter-76943173

Den Helder is also the main base of the Royal Dutch Navy btw. The Netherlands have seen some violence in this regard before: In January during wider riots a test center was set on fire, in early March another test center was attacked with a pipe bomb. In a vfew places in Germany there has been similar arson or attempted at test centers by opponents.

Belgium is currently hunting a rightwing-extremist soldier who disappeared from his base with multiple weapons, including an assault rifle and some anti-tank rockets. He left behind a note stating he "would not be caught alive". The man previously threatened a virologist who works as a senior advisor with regard to the pandemic for the Belgian government.

Some of the rockets have been found with his car so far.

An anti-vaccer nurse at a vaccination center in North Germany apparently prepped syringes with saline solution only.

The woman came to public note when in an incident on April 21st the switch was discovered by another nurse. She initially claimed to her colleague that she had dropped a dose and was covering her mistake that way, but was reported for it. As a precaution the center called in all 197 people jabbed that day for antibody tests at the time. On May 1st the employer had sufficient data to assume there may not have been such an "accident" (by that time antibody results were in for all 80 people who had received their second jab, which none showing the necessary antibody levels) and both fired the woman and reported her to police.

Police investigations found that the woman was posting conspiracy stuff online and is thus assumed to have had a political motive and to have done so throughout the time she worked there. It is somewhat assumed that she fully intentionally hired on as a temp nurse with the Red Cross to get into the vaccination center.

Based upon her shift plans throughout the time she worked there authorities are now assuming 9,673 vaccinations on 8,557 people between March 5th and April 20th to have been tampered with. The affected - 8.7% of the county's population - have been invited to get new vaccinations, they're actually postponing the closure of the center originally planned for Sep 30th. For the 1,116 for whom both vaccinations were performed during her shift times they're offering Johnson & Johnson, as it only needs one jab.

P.S. with regard to the high numbers:

It's a district vaccination center with full-scale assembly line organization. This nurse in that process never had to do with patients, her only job was taking syringes and drawing vaccine into them before handing them down into the vaccination lines. One dose goes down those lines every 30 seconds pretty much, which is how they get to the almost 10,000 people. It is likely that she only handled part of these doses though, there is no documentation exactly which syringe which doctor took off of the stack, and which of the nurses drawing them up handled which syringe. Among those from the "accident" day that could be checked for levels about 20% - including the six that are known to only have gotten saline - never developed antibodies and were thus re-vaccinated.

Of course she's silent about the accusations. It's somewhat doubtable they can frame her with much, other than the six doses from the "i dropped one" accident she admitted to - that's also the only cases she's been charged for so far.

My wife ran vaccinations for her hospital clinic for about 6 weeks in FEB-APR this years.

The vaccine & syringes were under 2 person control once they were cracked out teh box right up to the injection.

                        That would cost money though.

A security workup would too, but if the USS Hornet can do that on every new volunteer then it can be done...

Got my second jab at a similar central vaccination center last week, highly streamlined processes.

                              Simple streamlined process:
                              • checkin counter (military)
                                • civilian assistant sorting people in incoming waiting area to booths for registration
                                  • booth row 1 : registration (handled by uniformed DLRG employees in my case - SAR/water rescue organization)
                                  • booth row 2 : vaccine information (civilian doctor - some probably indian guy with broken German in my case)
                                  • booth row 3 : jab (separate civilian doctor)
                                • civilian assistant observing people for 10-minute period in outgoing waiting area before letting them go
                              • checkout counter (military)
New filled syringes were brought in from non-visible back to row 3. Single person, no 2-person control. Setup is such that as a patient you can pretty much only run that circuit with no way to slip in or out inbetween.

The place here is set up in a former supermarket in a former US housing area outside town. Entrance and exit are controlled (two uniformed guards at gate, third sitting in container behind them if there's problems - private security company), as are the entrance and exit to the building itself (civilian security guard, "conveniently" placed outside break area for the soldiers...).

They'll be closing that place next week since the central vaccination campaign is considered over.

Think that might be a first outside the US: In Germany a gas station employee was fatally shot on saturday after telling a customer that he had to put on a mask to buy beer there. He actually first went home, came back with his mask on, repeated his beer-buying attempt and while paying pulled down the mask and instead raised the gun he had brought to shoot the employee in the head. The perpetrator has confessed to the act and the motive, primarily founded in a personal anti-lockdown stance.

(In the US there was a similar case in June)
