Looks like Trump is well on his way having a spot carved out on Mount Rushmore.

Can't wait to see this board implode when he gets re-elected. It's going to be better than the first time where every genius on this board said Trump didn't have a snowballs chance in hell.

I didn't care for Obama but I kept my mouth shut about it because he was 'my president' of 'my country'.

Never in my life have I seen such derangement, and the need to repeat the same thing over and over.

How many times does one have to repeat that Trump is "unfit", and that his supporters are "delusional".

We have the same members here regurigitating the same disdain over and over, and what was once a great board for debate has become nothing more than an echo chamber.

Notice there are hardly every any dissenting voices to the posts by the same few people over and over, yet these same people feel the need to voice their 'super intelligent' and 'morally superior' opinions in order to validate their worldview.

As a longtime lurker on this board it's something interesting to behold.

Like I said....can't wait to see ya'lls post and temper tamprums when Trump gets re-elected.

A narcissistic lying traitor of a republic meets a despotic murderer of family despotate in a historic world first reality TV show stunt. The sign a piece of worthless paper (since neither can be trusted to keep their word anyway) and say "what a great show this is". *Audience applauds* credits...

Next on Trumpkin TV a rerun of the world famous "All the Deals I never did with Moscow".

I saw it as just hard balling. Squeeze because Kim's only going to get one shot

Both leaders have an interest in declaring the summit a productive first step in an ongoing process. It doesn’t take all that long to reach an agreement to disagree for now, and talk more later. If that is the “logical conclusion” of the summit in Singapore, then it’s unsurprising that the two sides are converging on it “rapidly.”

Blog post rightly calls out NYT & WAPO. I'm tired of this useless second guessing and disparaging. Anything Trump does is bad, we're all doomed. Anytime i start to see negativity i stop reading. this has served me quite well ever since he became a candidate. Its useful too in India when electioneering for the next year's general election is already in full swing with the usual bashing going on.

Kelly spoke well about the topic but then has to throw in, 70% the meet wil be a bust, 20% Trump will make things worse meaning he only gives 10% that the meet will be successful. In other words not confident. Why ? because Trump is this and that. Calling it before it even happens is the problem

    What you didn't know

First Ignore, Then Disparage: Reporting Trump’s Nuclear Diplomacy | 38 North | Jun 06 2018

    Calling out the MSM's BS!

Did you know that during the 2016 campaign, candidate Donald Trump repeatedly talked about negotiating with North Korea, not just having a hamburger with Kim Jong Un?

Or that within days of his inauguration, President Trump signed off on delivery of a token amount of flood relief, the first humanitarian aid to the DPRK in five years?

You may have heard that in February 2017, the chief of the American division in the DPRK Foreign Ministry was invited to New York to meet with the U.S. diplomat in charge of negotiating with the North – only to have their meeting cancelled over the assassination of Kim Jong Un’s half-brother. But did you know that within weeks, talks began in the so-called “New York channel”? Subsequent meetings with North Korean policy-makers were held in Oslo and Pyongyang. That led to the release of the American detainee Otto Warmbier.

Did you know that the administration dropped preconditions for negotiations earlier this year?

Then came the disclosure of a proposed meeting between North Korea’s Kim Yong Chol and Vice President Mike Pence during the Olympics in South Korea – only to be cancelled by the North Koreans when Pence gave every indication en route to Seoul that he was not in a negotiating mood. If you missed it, that’s somewhat understandable because word of the meeting only reached the State Department belatedly. In the meantime, however, did you know that intelligence officials were talking with their North Korean counterparts?

If you were an assiduous reader of the press or a close observer of television news, evidence of diplomatic engagement with North Korea came as a surprise.
