Obviously, you have never taken a high school physics course. Did you even finish high school? Simple question. How many joules do you need to blast two mountains with microwaves?

So the Times of London found this story credible by their China correspondent
While the US has also developed microwave-style weapons, China's alleged use of them may be the first against enemy troops anywhere in the world.
Also envisioned for use in crowd control, the weapon works by heating the water under the skin to painful temperatures which force people out of the area.
The sensation was once described in a medical journal as equivalent to touching a hot lightbulb. Overexposure to radiation can also cause headaches, nausea and vomiting.
China's so-called Poly WB-1 was first put on display at an air show in 2014 and was thought to be supplied to Chinese naval forces.
The tools are known as 'microwave' weapons because they have a similar effect to the type of oven, although technically the radiation is in the form of millimetre waves rather than microwaves.
But all we saw was water cannons firing coloured water and those umbrellas.Last edited by Double Edge; 18 Nov 20,, 17:28.

Had anything like this happened the Indian opposition would have had a field day. They already make up shit that did not happen.
Originally posted by m a x View PostThere are opposing statements from both sides, typical for warring nations. An unnamed army officer from India claims occupation of (a quote) „multiple Kailash range heights on the south bank of Pangong Tso-Chushul“. Which is not confirmed by any source to coincide with the battlepeaks referred by Jin Canrong. It is not possible to uphold the news is fake or not, based on solely such statements
The professor does acknowledge the hilltops were taken by the Indians.
I think this story is for internal consumption. Will get mentioned in the China dailies
Because the CCP looks bad. What do they have to show for after six months of their efforts.
What are 50k PLA doing at the border for six months. Which genius thought it would be a good idea to launch this adventure in the middle of a pandemic.
What happened to this might PLA. Why does India not back down and be cowed.
If you want to get conspiratorial, the winners here are both militaries.
Pandemic means budget cuts across the board. Before war biggest concern for any military is budget.
Launch a little adventure and budget is assured

Looking for vids of Professor Jin Can Rong, he seems respectable spoken to a number of think tanks. Lowy, Tsinghua. Liked by the young.
If I was Chinese i'd believe what he said
His public wechat account is titled "political commissar" jin canrong
Seems like that is his channel or one created for him by his fans.
One comment in the video titled "Jin Canrong: China has absolute military superiority to crush India" sprang out
It is the best policy to surrender the soldiers without fighting, the middle policy to attack the city, and the lower policy to conquer the city.
The Chinese strategy is to wait for the heavy snow to close the mountain, and india , who has no supplies, cannot survive the six months of -40 degrees winter.
People and weapons are all over, and even if India's national resources are exhausted, there is no need to develop the economy and play to death.Last edited by Double Edge; 18 Nov 20,, 22:04.

Trying not to overwhelm the lad. Suffice to say nothing short of a nuke coulod deliver such power requirements in a deliverable package. But if you need a nuke to deliver such microwaves, why bother with the microwaves?Last edited by Double Edge; 18 Nov 20,, 21:22.

We're ready
Both sides have all the supplies they need.
Apparently the winter in laddakh is more about cold and altitude than the snow.
PRC will force India to spend the winter deployment and then check out attitude.
From the look of things PRCs plan for coercive use of force have faced utter failure.
Thus childish hope of winters helping their coercive plans needs to be played out before we give them a face saving retreat.

The Chinese and Pakistanis have this strange delusion that we Indians are warm climate people.
Our military is consistently training for high altitude warfare and is very good at carrying out very fast and daring maneuvers in treacherous mountainous terrain. also have a huge pool of people to recruit from who are well suited for high altitude life for 1000s of years.
The last place they want to fight us is in high and cold places.
Even with the shitty economy right now and predicted in near future we are capable of procuring the bombs and guns we need, unlike the 50s and 60s where the choice was either to buy food or weapons.
