There's nothing wrong with boiling the odd peasant in oil or a little beheading before lunch. It keeps the hoi polloi in their place. :)

Correct. New York Times, "All the news that's fit to print", stood out in contrast to William Randolph Hearst's New York Journal and Joseph Pulitzer's World. While Hearst and Pulitzer engaged in a journalism war and Pulitzer near single-handedly invented Yellow Journalism, the New York Times quickly made a name for itself as a serious newspaper of record

                      • Once one of the richest port cities in the world, it allied with Tyre against Shallamanzer III, is mentioned by Pharoah Thutmose, and was the source of the Kingdom of Jerusalem's wealth. Although located in modern Isreal it stands out historically as a non-Jewish city from the Bronze Age go 1948.

                        What city is this.
