I've been spending way too much time on YouTube... Here's an absolute gem from WW2. Private Snafu, by Warner Bros, the same guys who did bugs bunny.

Pvt Snafu is a kind of animated Sad Sack, with each cartoon (shown to the troops) to contain moral stories. Titles like "Goldbrick" and "spies" - and all of the political incorrectness one expects from wartime media. We've got bug-eyed Japanese with thick glasses, Germans with Hitler 'staches, and plenty of pin-up hotties for the troops enjoyment. You'll never see these on Saturday TV.
