fantastic thread. needed info on this. if you dont like this thread then just dont post. i personally do like it. the battle of cer was a fantastic battle. the retreat of the serbian armys was a tragic event as i think they lost 100,000 trying to get south. their general i think turned out alright. ill he was but i think he was in France when he died before the war finnished and he could go back to his homeland. the Serbs i belive fought well. Serbia was important in this war as they seperated Austria and germany from Turkey and Bulgaria. without Serbia then it would have been a lot harder to help them Ottamon empire by sending supplies through by rail from Germany. the remanants of Serbia's army also went on to help the entente and gave them a few sucesses.
this information was not put here to say that Serbia is better then the rest of us, it was made to show that Serbias war efforts were not forgotten in places like the States or back here in Britain. Its all about the British Empire (UK, Australia and Canada), France and Russia as the good guys with the Americans being the ones who tipped the balance which they did. Italy had a bit of mention to but Rommania was never mentioned as they didnt last long but they kept fighting still so kudos to them. anyway thanks for the awareness thread and whether or not people hated this thread, they were still made aware of it..... ![]() |

Thanks for your helpful and fair comments.
Could you stop by the members intro thread and tell us a bit about yourself? That'd be appreciated by all. There's also an unofficial guide to WAB for new members full of helpful pointers for survival here. Please take a moment and read that also. Oh! Could you break up your thoughts a tad into paragraphs, please? It's a bit easier on our old and tired eyes. Thanks! ![]()
